I determine what my time is worth. If you aren't willing to pay me that I simply won't work for you.
No you don't determine that at all. You may think you do but the economy and other factors are more determinate than your wish.
You don't set your wage unless you own the company or have some specific skill that is very rare.

I determine my own wage. It is only limited by my efforts. If I want more money I work harder. Been doing it for 35 years now. If you're nice I can teach you how.

You can't be that clever if you set your wage at a rate that left you needing to work more hours....year after year for 35 of them.
When did I say anything about needing to work more hours?

I set my wage at the same level as the effort I wish to put forward.

So you get paid by the hour then, obviously, because you didn't deny it. So you just up your hourly rate according to what you feel you need to earn?
Your logic is ridiculous. Because I don't deny something you feel it must be true?

I get paid based on my skill level. If I feel I need to be paid more I learn more and I offer more to my employer. Increasing my skill level increases my pay level. Kind of how it works out there. You should try it.

There are 2 parts to this equation: money/rate and time. Just like miles per hour. You can't have 1 without the other or it is just an amount of money. So you get paid by the hour. You need to get yourself better educated buddy, something above 5th grade because it is clear you don't understand how wages work.

Deluded. You are paid a rate according to what the market thinks you are worth. That's a fact. Whether you like it or not. All you are doing is taking what you get offered and saying that's what you are worth. And you DO get paid by the hour.

So what happened to the guys you snitched on?

Actually I no longer am because I left the job when I had a mental breakdown from psychological abuse.
And yet even with my reduced capacity to think straight I still know that you are paid by the hour and you don't. I think it is you who is being exploited because you don't even know that you are paid by the hour. Therefore you don't know your hourly rate. So how do you determine what you are worth if you don't know what you are paid per hour?
