I have actually asked before, but I was stoned to death through my PC screen. So maybe I can try again.

But is the argument of LED produced Cannabis being better than that of HPS produced Cannabis based on the fact LED's have a much better spectrum?


Because if this is the case HID has come a long way since the days of magnetic ballasts and basic HPS bulb. CMH has a spectacular spectrum and is cheaper than QB to set up watt for watt.


Comparing HPS to QB / COB technology is slightly unfair I think, is that not like HID users comparing the old purple cheap LED units claiming to be 600w output to a brand new 600w de hps Gavita? Just different leagues.

Surely a much fairer fight would be QB / COB technology vs CMH?

I haven't grown with QB, just said that I have tried some buds grown under it. Had you not got yourself thrown out of UK420 you would have been privy to that info.


Your not the only person in England with a few QB's Lukio. Folks with grow shops were importing these units while you were unpacking your Budmaster.

Are you really so naive that you think shop owners that have been selling growers their equipment since the 70's are a year behind you on the latest grow tech?


And if you really want to talk about lies I will gladly take apart your QB diary results for you. And I don't tell lies.

No you had a fit because people wouldn't let you choose their light source for them. Then you threw in the towel just before you were about to be asked to leave to save face.


I'm not going to take pictures of friends personal grows because someone on the net thinks I'm telling porkies. But if we cut the crap I think it's quite reasonable that people whom could be interested in selling QB's in the UK would try them personally first.


I don't have a Gavita. I have a pair of 1000w de 400v Dimlux and a pair of 315w D-Pappillion CMH running over an Alien Hydroponics Pro 8 x 55l pot RDWC. And they are all absolutely fantastic.

Can we get 1.2kg (2.2 pounds) in soil with 800W of HPS? I ask because it's the result I have actually each 3/3.5 months with 800W of COBs and I'm sure I can yield more because I don't use CO² and I am not a big fan of fertilizers.. I just use fertilizers from the end of the stretch. Coming back to HPS would be a nightmare for me!

You really don't want to get into a bud waving contest with @lukio He grows the Mandingo/Falconio's of colas.When he posts we read with awe and I regularly get 50 plus oz with leds and cmh in 2 120 tents.

No. i posted lab results that the ignorance of uk420 couldnt understand/tolerate because it doesnt fit into their "leds are shit" bullshit. Funny how the day after i quit that prick arthur is banging on about the thing he was slagging off...BRAVO.

My diary was getting more views than anything else at uk420 - i was helping every noob including yourself who wanted to know about leds - no one was gna ask me to leave. You even said yourself " the old boys dont understand the new tech, stuck in their old ways" but not you, remember? LOL
