I am broke. I built my grow set up with about $300. Buying and selling used equipment off Craigslist.
I have 600 w hps
6inch in line fan
8 inch in line fan
2 fan controllers
Box fan
Built auto watering system
6x16 carbon filter
But if there's ever another tester contest I'll be sure to sign up!

Ps my fan in the top corner is held up by unit farm ratchet straps!

I ran a 600 hps for a long time you're gonna be rocking in no time best to take your time & ease into this led business as there are many ways to go I've bought 2 in the last year & although things are going good sometimes feel I could of made better choices

Mind you the 2nd flower grow i lst'd this sucker down to 15" in height from top of soil to top of canopy. the 1st one was about 22"

hey rolla j I should be getting buds soon I did some training today the screen is almost full also I had to raise the light the pic without the blurple is my cob grow , same strain just flipped a week earlier

both of these plants were cloned from the same mom at the same time so basically I'm doing a comparison of the osram powered led to the cob led it should be interesting because your light has some osram diodes as well

Transplanted the 3 afghani girls from 1gal to 3gal
Guna let them stretch some then tie down
The one looked unhappy so i decided to do em all today
The other 2 I TP'd a cpl of days ago r looking good as well
Also added a panorama photo of the grow space

looking good rolla j I'm starting to really like the small light / single plant concept & im wanting to get perpetual by cloning whatever I'm growing & vegging under the t-5 while things finish it's definitely a work in progress but I'm getting there it helps to see how others with similar lights such as yourself are doing things I'm really hoping to get my small setup to produce 4 zips at harvest time so I've kinda set myself a goal

hey rolla j my apologies for blowing up your thread but you've got about the closest thing to my light & grow I've ran across & finished flowering with an osram powered light our lights aren't exactly the same but close do you think based on what you can see here that I might get close to your results??? I've got high hopes for this little light

thanks rolla j you're a good source of good input for me I don't like to copy other people's work but I do like to get ideas & add my own input & hopefully it all comes together in the end the wheels are already turnin for my next grow

the sale prices unit farm has makes them competitive it would be interesting to do a side by side of the UFO - 160 against my Johnson cx- 6 as they're real close in power draw my Johnson draws 340w. I'm really liking the osram blurple & there must be a reason calif light works has never strayed away from them in the age of cobs & q/b they have kept osram even in their latest generation of lights unit farm might be onto something here

that's just a dream as I'm running 2 tents & i am at capacity 1 tent has California light works ss 275 (200w.) & the other has 340 w.johnson cx-6 right now I'm growing identical clones , nutrients & 3x3 tents in theory the Johnson should almost double the yield of the California light works tent but I don't think that is gonna happen
