Okay I'll pick you brains for a few questions (well more that a few)
I'm on my first grow in many years and I'm trying to get it right the first time. I have already spent money on things I thought was right but had to basically buy everything twice. My original idea was to use 2 2x4 grow rooms and use led lights.
Any how here is my setup as of tonight:
8x10 Vivosun grow room
2 1000w cheap grow lights (Vander life)
6" 390 CFM exhaust fan
dehumidifier (In grow room)
fan
Using a passive intake system I can keep the grow room 5-8deg above house temp pretty steady. Grow room stays between 75-80deg through out the day 47-51% humidity.
I plan to use half of the grow room for the plants 4x4, growing Critical Mass x AK47 just over a week old from seedlings in med pots right now. I'm using the Technaflora starter kit for nutrients but have only used root 66 once when transplanting 1-1-1. Water is ph 6.5, fox farm frog soil. Not sure to go with 3 or 5 gallon grow bags for final pots yet.
Questions:
1. How long can or should I keep them in these med pots before transplanting to the final grow bag? (I was thinking about the 3 node).
2. I'm ditching the LED's and getting a 630w CMH light next pay check but what light spectrum bulb should I use? 3100k, 3400k, or 3500k. or mix them up if possible?
3. Is my humidity to low for my babies right now?
4. When and how should I start using the nutrients (I keep hearing 2 weeks after final transplant) true of false.
During flowering I plan to introduce UV-B lighting what is the best way it introduce this to the plants (Thinking 15min every 2 hours at first for a week the get them up to 15min per hour throughout flowering)
