The Palestinians have been lied too, 1st by Great Britain and then by the US ,then murdered and banished from their ancestral lands since 19 fucking 47, in other words for over 70 years.
Just imagine that a baby born in Palestine then, is now an old person that has never experienced a homeland or a nation of their own
The vast majority of the world, except in the USA it seems, understands this is the underlying cause for most of the instability in the region, and with Trump combined with Netanyahu, the shit is only going to get worse, and the US taxpayer is the engine behind this carnage.
Why?
Former POTUS Jimmy Carter pretty much laid the cards on the table in this interview, saying that until the Palestinians have a true Homeland, not simply the death camps like Gaza and the West Bank, things will never get better for the world at large.
Israel doesn't give 2 shits about peace, just as long as the Americans bullets, bombs and money keeps streaming in, thanks to the American taxpayer.(ever wonder why American flags are burnt all the time in the ME?)
