My life is pretty fucking golden. Retired from the USAF after 22 years so I get a decent pension. Children doing very well in school/college. Wife doing well in her career. Owner of 2 laundromats and a cleaners. Part investor in a carwash/barbecue shack.
I am going though a self imposed break from smoking weed, but that's ok ...for now.

Well that sounds nice. Glad you earned a comfortable life. Too bad you can’t see I earned mine. And under the stress of chronic illness the whole time.

You need to understand that they didn’t arrest us for drugs. We were supposedly breaking a silly local ordinance meant to entrap outsiders to collect fines. They know they can’t stop the drugs. They devise schemes to profit from it.

And you sure don’t know what it would be like to be a clean cut white guy in Camden jail. 400 gang members to about 12 of us. Deadly situation. Or worse.

And I don’t have a co to get me out of trouble. You are alone in there for the duration.
