Yep, you can be the best road racer in the world but you can't do a thing about that idiot that drift's into your lane or does something else stupid that gets you killed.
I'd be pissed if a teenager took me while texting. I am fully confident in my abilities on a bike. I don't like setting myself up to fail or putting my life in other people's hands. That's exactly what we do when we pull out of the driveway on a bike. It's bad enough in a car these days. I buy vehicles that are safe for the wife and kids in case of a accident. They might cost more for gas, but I'd rather have my babies in a tank than a pregnant roller skate because it's cheaper on gas. Idk if I'll ever ride in the street again. Most likely just build my cars I have. Even then I need to put cages in them. I've had lots of friends die wrapping fast cars around poles or getting crushed when they roll over. Momma wouldn't tell me no about riding once the boys are older. She does bring up my Fox body I've had since high school when I talk about bikes though. She says just put the money into that instead of a bike. It's her way of saying she doesn't like me on a bike. I could understand that. It would be selfish of me to ride and have something happen to me on a bike. My family is why I don't think I could.

Totally agreed guys. Completely reckless, and careless behaviour. With a total disregard for others safety.
Personally I'd be too worried about killing a baby in the back of a car, or causing a huge accident.
Its insensitive behaviour.
But totally cool to watch sometimes.

I sold all my crotch rockets when momma got pregnant with my oldest boy. I couldn't lie and say I promise to be safe yada yada yada, she use to ride on the back. The GSXR750 with tons of bolt ons and a chip would stand up with both of us on it in 4th no problem. Perfect example why I'm not allowed to have a bike again until the boys are out of the nest. My favorite was my 6 that was super nimble and built to the hilt.....awwww life before children.

((Shrugg))
My boy is now at the age he wants to get into fast dirt bikes and ATVs. I think I'll get him a 100r two stroke or something. Of course with all the safety gear.

I have two four wheelers. A Honda rancher 350 and a Kawasaki kfx 400.

I don't trust him on either yet. The rancher is a farm ATV but will still ride wheelies and such.

I would never be reckless that way again but in my 20’s I tore up the jersey turnpike on my worked v45 magma at a good 125 for a long way.

Even rode in the median to pass traffic without slowing down to much.

Then all of the sudden there were cop lights flashing in the grill of a car behind me. But I had just cleared all the traffic by a good mile......

It was a souped up police interceptor 80’s box shaped caprice. He caught me from a stand still speed trap on the side of the road.

The roar this supercharged beast made was awesome as he followed me to the side of the road.

It was all black with tinted windows and oval dual exhaust pipes.

He showed me the motor after writing me a $300 ticket. It was a supercharged small block 350 bored and blueprinted and balanced. He said it had about 750 horsepower.

I had 142 according to the Yamaha speed shop I had work up my bike.

So much for power to weight ratio. :-)

My 9 year old daughter drives my 250r raptor. She’s been wanting to race. My son who’s 4 will start kiddie class motocross this year which he an I both are excited about!

Some of those farm quads are no joke. I ride my uncles automatic when I irrigate and it's a torque monster. I'm not sure what it is because he's literally a straight up cowboy and doesn't ever wash anything......lol

My uncle has a plate in his head since 1975 no short term memory.
He lives with me and cant take care of himself.
Bike wreck of course.
1975 cb360
Worlds ugliest bike took him out.
Dude my first bike was a 73 CB350. I was 14 when I started ditching the cops on that thing. Not from speed. It just got through spaces a cruiser couldn't. I have a bad leg and a terrible back from bike accidents. Both street and dirt bikes. Luckily I never hit another vehicle. I have a friend who is permanently disabled from being drug 3 blocks after a drunk driver pulled out in front of him on his bike.

It's all fun and games until it's not.
I have a number of broken bones and a few pins pins motorcycles and ATV wrecks.

Speaking of tank's, my daily driver - 1 ton with a 6L diesel bumper if I accidentally hit something.

Getting ready to take a 48 mile ride on Black Betty (the song's playing in you head right now isn't it?), she's the girl that brings the moose off the mountains & through the swamp for me.

750 King Quad with tons of goodies including custom brush guard/push bumper (junked the plastic bumper before I even rode her). Racks & guard are zinc flame sprayed & epoxy painted (never will rust). 4K winch w/ spectra line instead of that fukn wire, Executioner mudders, exhaust mod, grip heaters & custom rifle boot.

Oh, she does double duty carrying refreshments as well.

I don't know how fast she will go - 60ish is about as far as I've dared tread, the tires are NOT conducive to high speeds & neither am I anymore.

Holy shit, that thing looks nuts.
I gave up the bikes for a long time, then when the kids were old enough I got them bikes, the leap suspension took was mind boggling.
Kids these days don't know the struggles of the 70s n 80s

Its literally like floating on air now.
I remember my landing hard back in the day like jamb your back hard.

Plus the power is so smooth.

Im not bitter. Lol
I know right. That old dual shock tt500 required a kidney belt when I rode.

I like three wheelers as well. I had a trx 250r that was bored out. I saw videos the other day of a stock 250r keeping up with a raptor 700. Mine was over 300cc. 6 speed. It was a beast. I outran a vette on it until about 120-130mph.

It looked like this one. I should have kept it. The motors are worth money. They don't make 250's like that anymore.

I want a cr500.

In the military and on leave you better be back in town when your paperwork says you will be back.

I cheated one time. My leave ended on Friday but didn't have to be back at work until around 5pm the next Monday. I figured I would stay until that Monday morning and ride back to get a couple extra days.

I get a phone call from the first sgt asking where I was and I came clean. It was about 7 am and took about 7 hours if doing a little over speed limit.

I was told if I wasn't there by 11 am I would be AWOL.

I hammered down and made the seven hour ride in 3.5 hours. I did the whole trip at 140+ on the ninja I described earlier.

It kind of pissed the first sgt off that I made it in time.

I used to have an Italian moped.

I slightly tore a fingernail once adjusting the mirror.

I would go 7 mph up a 45° grade, full throttle.

I liked it till the engine siezed and I couldn't get parts.

Now that is bad ass! I bet the fingernail injury hurt like hell.

And I have never gone more than a terrifying 4mph up a grade like that.

Whew!
