I wanted one of those cob frames for ages, they're sexy af.
Definitely keep the pollen.Figure i would show how the Black Afghani looked prior to getting the death penalty.
I condemn thee ... to the wood chipper .
May god have mercy on your soul.

Note : it IS a full male . I was mistaken about herm ( i was probably drunk ) ...
Should i keep the pollen or send it to the afterlife ?
Aim a fan at them.Finally installed my 2 QB288s.
I'm hanging about 12" away (wish my tent was taller) and I'm pulling 30k lux at the top of the canopy at full power.
I turned it down because it was too hot, and now I'm getting about 15k lux.
Thats weird.. My 304 boards show ~45k lux at 12" pushed at 50%Finally installed my 2 QB288s.

Yes!When you say "Aim a fan at them" do you mean one of those round spinney things that creates air movement or do you mean someone who really likes QB's a lot?
That's what I thoughtYes!
If you want more power in the space then add another 3000 HLG-320, there is little difference in spectrum from 2700 to 3000. If you want to see improved quality and better yields then you will have to look into enhancing the spectrum with far/photo/deep reds.Hey guys, If I were to put 5 HLG-320’s over a 5x8 grow space just to flower. And I know that’s overkill. But I’d be where I could hopefully get excellent coverage. And if needed, I could still dim’em way down if any heat issues were to arise.
Now, I’ve got 3 HLG-320’s at 3000k. What if I put one in between each of those and use 2700k. I guess I would have to use the v1 boards? Would that be a problem? Is the v2 that much more efficient? If not, by mixing both 2700k and 3000k. Is there any noticeable advantage or disadvantage by doing so?
I’m gonna add one more 320 anyway to make four if I just go with another 3000k. But I’ll put two up if the 2700k is worth adding.
Getting ready for my first run with these. I was using two 600 HPS in the same space before. But after hanging three of the 320’s up. I used my lux meter, and figured adding one more 320 would maybe be better. But I’ll throw an extra one up in a heartbeat. I’m kinda wanting to anyway, if it’ll help. Just a little intrigued with using the 2700k I guess.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. I’m definitely new, only way to learn is to ask. So come on, give me your thoughts. Thanks.
I am assuming you are wired parallel? if so keep the voltage pot wide open to get the 54 volts to every board. The only pot adjustment you would need to make is to the current. The driver I'm using is an HLG-240-54A.
The voltage and current pots seem to flicker between seemingly random settings as I use them.
They didn't do this when I first started using them today.
What’s the best way to add far red spectrum to what I have. I’m not sure if any boards come in far red. If they do, great. If not, do they come in strips? Or what method is the most commonly used? I see I definitely need more information like this. Thanks. If you want more power in the space then add another 3000 HLG-320, there is little difference in spectrum from 2700 to 3000. v2 is more efficient but not enough to warrant swapping out all of your lights, however if you are buying a new set I would go with v2's for the boost in efficiency.
These are the only strips ive seen that have red. What’s the best way to add far red spectrum to what I have. I’m not sure if any boards come in far red. If they do, great. I just goggled up far red spectrum, pretty cool. Now I’m beginning to understand just what far red lighting actually does.

I have seen a few COB options though.
I got these boards.
They have Epistar 660s in them.

Yeah, I’m gonna have to check into this. Gotta do some research. I appreciate the info. I see there’s more options than I realized. Thanks. These are the only strips ive seen that have red.

If you're the DIY type if not to hard to make your own strips or puck type thing.Yeah, I’m gonna have to check into this. Gotta do some research. I appreciate the info. I see there’s more options than I realized. Thanks.
@Little DogIf you're the DIY type if not to hard to make your own strips or puck type thing.
Growmau5 made some puck type things.
Will do my friend. Now we’re heading down the road. I can do that. Simpler the better. Thank you!@Little Dog
either those pucks, or HLG has a strip of the 3 reds for flowering, HLG 35. Go to 'all products' under their catalog
