Hi guys,

I found these lights at a scrap yard and bought all 7 i could find for £20.

They all work. Very well made. Slight damage to heatsinks due to being mistreated. Plastic lenses are a bit scratched up.

Luceco LHB200W-01
Mean Well HLG240H 48A
200W 4000k

Can these be used effectively?

I'm interested in your thoughts and opinions. Thanks.

200w is a little low. You could probably use them to supplement. They also might put out quite a bit of heat..

Luckily they are 4000k. That is the coolest I would flower with. Since these are the A version, I would get a wattmeter and turn them down to about 100w each(maybe 150w) and run about 4 per square meter. This will improve there efficacy.

on voltage id rec the luminus cxm22.

do those heatsinks have multiple holes for mounting chips? or if there are only 2 holes are the holes for the cobs that are there 35mm apart?

35mm is common spacing for many cob holders

4 small screws mounting cob. I'll drill new holes in the aluminium plate if needed.

actually i didnt realize those were so massive and one cob per driver. you want citi 1825 or luminus cxm32

citis will top out at about 160-170W and the luminus would do 210-225W each (assuming those drivers do the usual 54V max)

they may have had them turned down depending on spec of the heatsink

The heat sinks measure 9x9 inches.
They get warm but not too hot.
Thanks for the advice too.
From manufacturer specs I think is 48v max?
And they do a 54v version too.

Great find .... a little COB upgrade as stated and you are golden.

You can go with reflectors instead of lenses.

Ok so if I were to get a high power COB with a preference to flowering, suited to the above driver, which would it be?
Thanks.

And alternatively what driver/cob combo to match these heatsinks.
