No, because the pictured soldier has a single chevron and rocker on his left sleeve, indicating the Army rank of private first class (PFC). Mueller, on the other hand, was a commissioned Marine officer who served as second lieutenant leading a rifle platoon. That's a picture of Ed Episcopo. You can't tell the difference between an Army PFC and a Marine LT?
I wan't critiquing the picture....I was welcoming home a brother. I don't think that's a pic of Muller, he was a marine and that's an army uniform. But that doesn't change my response. Anyone who went thru that mess of a war has earned my respect, no matter what branch of service.

What I hate is the way it's all ending for Mueller.

The man spent essentially his entire life in service to this country in one way or another. Then he retires. He's got maybe 8 or 10 years left to actually enjoy life and he gets dragged right back into it.

And it's not just an investigation of some foreign enemy or such. It's more than that.

He's finding out that not some people, not even several people, but EVERY fucking body from his party is corrupt as hell.

All of them.

It makes me wonder what he thinks as he lays in bed looking at the ceiling.

Was it all worth it? A lifetime of service so these jackasses can throw it all away to make a buck?

I do truly hate it for him.

1. they were corrupt before he found out.. how is that his fault and why would you hate him for this?
2. he wasn't dragged into; he went willing into the trump battle as a good soldier does especially a marine.
3. #neverforget is why.

perhaps you'll find your answer in the lyrics?

please take the time to read correctly.
He said he "hates it for him"...not that he hates him. BIG difference.
and when you talk Marine ...always capitalize. a Marine is a specific person
