Good advise, the thing is that I am trying to keep my plant count down... I was thinking that just doing some light LST will expose the bottoms of the branches to the 1000w. How long do you think I would need to veg for 4oz a plant? (From Clone)

I would say you would have to veg until the plants are at least 3-4 ft. tall. I'm not sure how long that will take you though. I would guess about 8 weeks but it is only a guess.

My Blueberry trich are turning amber at 9 weeks. The AK47's are mostly cloudy (with a chance of rain).

I like my Indicas a little on the done side of the window and I like my Sativas on the early side of the harvest window. That way I have a heavy body stone for pain or sleep and an energetic head stone for the day.

OK, Ya That's What I Like With The Indica's, But I Also Like To Let My Sativa's Go To 30%/70%-Cloudy/Amber,,I'm A Couch-Locker 24/7!!!! HEHEHE

I thought I'd post some shots of the plants before and after harvest.

The plants are drying now and still have a few more days hanging.

I fired up my latest Aero/NFT design last night.

Check out the photo of one of my new strains called Goo. It has just started to flower and even the fan leaves are becoming covered in crystals!

I have an aeroflo 30 sys i got for a 100 bucks cheap with two pumps and other stuff. My q is can i run my sys like yours and should i remove the grommet and pipe that controls the water level. so it wont burn my plants. or should i cut a slit in the end to let the water run out like yours?...........Very nice setup....!

My design works because the plants sit in air for 5 minutes.

I use a cycle timer set to 1 minute on and 5 minutes off.

You would want all the water to drain out with this method.

I would work great if you did it!

I've been reading through all your threads but can't seem to find instructions on how to build the Aero/NFT system. I've got the detailed instructions on building the cloner and a list of items needed (PVC posts, pipes, etc for the system) but was curious if there is another thread that I've missed that details how to build the systems.

Fucking pests! Thrips again.

I released Nematodes into the reservoirs and hung Lacewing eggs throughout the garden.

That will take care of the Thrips and any other pests that may be lurking.

I caught the little buggers early on so it should be no problem to keep the bad bugs in check with the good bugs.

No major damage to report, everything is going great! If anything it's going too well. The Skunk in the back right is totally out of control now.

I've narrowed the Skunk down to one phenotype. It is dense and looks like it might finish in a decent amount of time. They smell a lot sweeter than I thought they would.

The Goo is like nothing I've ever seen! It smell exactly like Grape Bubbleyum gum. That sour grape kind of smell. It's beyond sticky! Even the fan leaves are covered in crystals now.

The Bubblegum is a huge producer. It is just starting to smell like bubblegum now.

The Purple Silver also has a slight grape smell. Not as sour smelling as the Goo though.

The Elvy smells like sandlewood incense. A very musky smell with slight sweet overtones.

The new Sativa phenotype that I have of AK47 is smelling very different than the Indica phenotype. I smells a lot sweeter. Way more of a sour cherry smell.

The new girls are shooting up fast as expected. The system on the left is going strong and packing on weight now. I have mostly Blueberry in that unit.

PH is very stable. I might see a 0.2 rise in a week.

When the plants get bigger they use about 2 gallons a day. That's about a 200 PPM rise. Not a big deal.

Some strains can handle 2900 PPM no problem. Some burn at 1700. So it depends a lot on what kind of strain you are running.

Well cool that is the bomb bro. What kind of filter do you use for odor control and fan? I can't figure out what the pvc tubes you have over the plants are?? thanks?? What kind of tester would you want for keeping your ppm's right.. Thanks bro. !!

hi stinkbuddy, first post ever on this forum but have been lurking throughout this and your pound/3 wks thread. i'm beyond impressed. thanks for taking the time to do this ya frikkin braggart! j/k.

that being said, i have been slowly amassing all the necessary plumbing/pumping/spraying/rubbermade containing/fencepost covering/nutes etc to do up my own setup, especially after seeing yours and your protege's efforts with this method.

my noob question it this: when you measure your ppm's, do you take into consideration the 200 ppm's of your tap water? i.e that you need a reading of 3100 in order to end up with 2900 of the nutes? or just combine the two. i'm sure my water is harder than that here and i remember reading that if tap water's ppm's were above a certain number one should use an RO machine, whatever that does. i always thought i wanted my osmosis moving forwardly.
