Got it. Thanks Matty. Awesome advice.

I've heard that I should start at half strength on the nutes and then dial it up slowly as I go. Do you agree?
Yeah, but only 2-3 feedings before going up. I pre charge coco with cal mag night before seed goesin, 1/4 the day she pops up, half by 1st set and full 2-3 feedings after. At first you can get 3-4 days inbetween but dissent take long before you can water everyday. Coco is not supposed to dry out completely so as long as nutes arent crazy, you can feed multiple times a day for fresh food and nice clean oxygen. Its not a auto, but here is a plant 6 weeks flower and 4-5 of veg in 2 liter bittle of coco. Fed 2x a day. I use a moderate amount of nutes anyways but more times you feed a day produces great plants even in little ass containers. Check out AFN when its up again -_- for a grower in Mephisto section names Roasty McToasty. He was doing small half gal coco hempys and getting minster plants. Recently went to organic soil but look at his older stuff to see what you can achive with dedication to multiple waterings everyday.

That's interesting. It sounds like the feeding cycle and the ability to grow monster plants from small containers almost mimics a hydro grow. With the multiple feedings daily etc. .

It's kind of like a coco grow is a hydro grow only I'm the pump and the coco holds the roots?

Update... 4 of 5 BD's germinated and above ground. The 1 that didn't germ I put in a solo just in case

As for the GSC, FastBuds should change their name to FastDuds. Only 1 germ out of 5, 4 are dead, dead, dead. Four dead in ohio...

Worse thing is the GSC was for my wife, at least I got one right...?? After the BD's broke ground, still no sign of the GSC. Next day I dug it out and the seed was unchanged in size, but there looked like "bad spots" on the root. Now I'm bugging, this bitch is goin teats up on me. I put some rooting powder on it and put it in a 1/4" compost and we'll see what happens.

The seeds I got on the FastBuds promo 2 for 1. The 2 packs came lashed together with FastBuds Tape, which ruins the breeder pack when you remove it. Now I'm wondering if the "10 Year Anniv Promo" included 10 year old seeds. What just cleaning out inventory?

I would never pay FastBuds $10 seed full price for 50% germination. Granted I probably got a bad pack, but they lashed it together with the other pack and shipped it out. Hopefully the remaining pack is better. I'm pissed for the wasted time.

Of course I have 9 pots filled, I was anticipating 90% germ rate, lol. Now there's a vacancy, maybe do some transitional or clone stuff in the empty space.
Im in Ohio too... Its bad enough that this is a no grow state, and when plants die its even worse!!! I'm trying to wait it out,but it's starting to rub me the wrong way...

Coco is considered hydro. Takes the easier part of soil like simple hand watering and adds the accelerated growth from hydro.

Oh nice. Makes sense. Does it matter what coco I get? Are Amazon bricks the same as the fluffy bags from the hydro store? I'm guessing I need a ton to fill 2 7gal pots.

Ok.... Outdoor to indoors has been scratched... Except for the WW and mystery auto... Why??? Because ROG & AVT JUST POPPED UP TO SAY HELLO SO SOME PEOPLE HAD TO GET EVICTED!!! Once they touch moisture and take off, the updates will start coming in!!!

I don't like coco bricks. I get Royal Gold Tupar coco. Love it and won't dare try anything else. Most coco have tons of salt buildup and need some perlite added. Some bags can even be dusty. This stuff is so clean and plenty of perlite usable right out of the bag. I highly recomend looking at it.

Canna makes good stuff i hear. Roots organics has good soil from what i see so possibly that too. Myself Royal Gold is too reliable. Id quit growing if they went out of business.

Have you tried their coco fiber bag? No perlite and charged with Cal. Do you precharge with anything using their Tupur? I’ll be traveling next week and the hydro store has some royal gold that I’d like to try. Currently using canna

No on the fiber bag. The night before i plant my seed i pour 2ml of cal mag per gal water in till it comes out the bottom and thats it. First nutes when 1st set of leaves. Its incredible stuff to grow in. I really love the stuff. Also i do not add any more perlite. It really is uasble right out of the bag. No washing dust, adding perlite needed.

Hey guys southern Ontario here bit of late entry but this is my white widow auto. Started in the beginning of May and it is just starting to bud. Almost thought I had a photo period on my hands. Slow but I really appreciated the extra veg time. She’s in a 7 gallon bag with ffof and only given straight rainwater ACFB57EE-0135-4305-B7BF-2B207E523593.jpeg

Right. It felt good right away when i got it. Looked good, felt good, even smelled like nothing was going on that shouldn't have been. It just felt like it was going to be good and it has. For the life of me i can't remember how i found it either. Must've seen it here in the hydro drain to waste sub(which i do t see alot using it for some crazy reason. Probably just guys like to go cheapest route for non comercial small grows) or i jist googled best coco for growing but either way i love it and have no regrets since using it.
