The president can't launch a nuke on his own. That's a common misconception. What if he goes to Mar a Lago and hit the Capital with a tactical nuke?

The irony of that situation is that if Trump were to refuse to leave after the new president is sworn in, he would find the gun barrels of his secret service detail pointed directly at his head.
If he still refused to leave, he would be shot dead on the spot.
Even if he agrees to leave at that point, he would be met at the exit by the United States Marshalls and arrested.
He would face felony trespassing, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, threats to the president and probably several more charges.
He would die in prison.
Putin can.The president can't launch a nuke on his own. That's a common misconception.
Actually, no he can't. They have a 3 tiered system.Putin can.
Don't forget totally democratic elections.Actually, no he can't. They have a 3 tiered system.
Those are easy to rig, firing a nuclear missile is not.Don't forget totally democratic elections.
believe it or not this makes me feel better. Those are easy to rig, firing a nuclear missile is not.
The Russians, contrary to what you think, aren't stupid. They, like us, would never allow one person the ability to destroy the planet.
Even if a nuclear strike is ordered by Trump or Putin, there are two more tiers for Russia and three more for us that have to fall in line.
Stuffing ballot boxes is one thing; actually entrusting the fate of mankind to one man is another thing entirely.
