Don't worry about the split stem, I've done it twice this run on one plant and she just kept growing like nothing happened.

The lower split happened few weeks ago and was a huge split, just grew right back together, no tape, wide open lol. They'll be huge stalks in a few weeks

Not taller - but rather laterally!

I weave them through the net as they are still in veg and maintain the canopy as flat as possible. Then do the flip to 12/12 once the net is almost 100% covered in woven branches.

You will still get the flower stretch once you've flipped. The height of the stretch is strain dependent.
Got my net 50% filled; should I flip now coz it’s a Sativa?

I gather there are now some tops starting to head towards the light? That's a good thing.

You can flip now if you feel that the stretch is gonna affect the space between your lights and the canopy. If you find that the stretch was not as vigorous as you anticipated, next time you can wait longer before you flip. If you are able to weave some of those new tops in the net to fill out the empty spots, you can do that too. If that's not possible - go ahead and flip.

This 2 x 4 "mani-SCROG" has just completed. Today was cut day.

The Diesel and The Cheese just hanging 'round their 36" x 22" drying spot. (I laid down on the floor and took this picture looking up)

Depending on the size of the branch, there are also 3 or 4 of the smaller 1" buds below these main tops. Think this should be a good haul?
