Doesn't look too bad until Wednesday. Mostly sunny and low 60's to low 40's. Come Wed, it looks like we get pounded again with a week of rain. I have no choice- I had to keep mine inside to hold them in veg, and I put them outside WAY late. So, my shit is staying out probably until November. I just caught my first worm on a bud last night too. Great.... I'm probably screwed..... Lol

My forecast is telling me rain starts Saturday, but then I’m in a slightly different microclimate... I’m gonna chop some but leave some out for science. I’m curious how much they can take.

Got ya. Well, and I have the luxury of being able to bring mine into a sheltered area when it gets nasty out. Sucks having to tote the 15 gal fabric pot and plant over a 3' wall each day, but I've got no choice. These are so far from being done.... But HEY, the roses are doing good! Lol

Lol. True. Tell you what though, I'm getting damn tired of moving stuff. Guess I'll have a week of from doing that when it rains. Sucks though, since they're on the North side of the house. Not much light....

Guess I could bring them inside to finish them off. I'd have to yank all of the bulbs out of the place, to use them to do that though.... Lol

I brought some that I had outside in the greenhouse inside in the tent under my HPS. It was a tight fit but I squeezed them in. I'm sure glad I did because they were not getting enough sun where my greenhouse is this time of year with where the sun is. Now the buds are filling out and swelling nicely under the light. I still have one in the greenhouse that's too big to bring inside / it won't fit in the tent. I'll leave it in the greenhouse until it is just to cold at night and then put it in the spare bedroom by the window to finish off. It's a sativa so it's not even close to ready. I might have to break out the old magnetic ballast 1000 watter to finish it off.

Me too, for sure. I’ve got such a tight space, tho, that I might need to build a custom one or several. My wife is paranoid about the neighbors seeing and gossiping, job repercussions, thieves, etc., so I am basically still in total stealth mode. I’ve got a huge yard but I only got a little corner that’s totally cloaked from outside with hedge and chicken run and fence.
Sounds like you’re the man with the plan, good deal! I live in a double wide so not a lot of room inside either, LOL. I’ve got six big dogs that sleep inside as well as a room dedicated to an aviary, so it gets pretty crowded.
Holy shit, your situation is a lot more dramatic! Looks like you got lucky you chopped when you did! Did you get all of them or do I see a couple struggling to stand up under all that snow?

Nice good timing... we get snow in our parts like 1/3 winters, usually Jan/February. Snow in October would be insane! How many days before did you take the photos of the ripe plants before it snowed?

I don't see any reason to go out for the next few days.
It is a tossup if my grow space will hold my plants or I should bite the bullet and expand it. it is a cube built off of a closet, it will be odd to light. My plants were just an experiment in using different grow mediums and vegging some branches from a damaged plant. I accidentally flowered a CBD plant I wanted as a mother, I have some cuttings from it and hope they take.

I cloned a number of cuttings from two or three flowering plants. Success rate may be lower, but you can definitely do it.
Yesterday I just had to chop my remaining plants - two sativa dominant Orange Blossom Specials from GPS. They were going strong after I had to chop the other strains I had out, due mostly to WPM creeping in over and over. The OBS finally started getting small areas of botrytis, with the cold and wet weather we've had lately. Had to call it, season's over here in Maine.

yeah, high 20's for a short time is generally safe, low 20's is when damage really starts... got to 19 last night here, and killed almost all of my plants... "mush" is a good term for it... they are droopy, soft and rubbery and smell like vegetables gone bad... there is still the possibility of life in the plant itself/root system, but everything that was noticeably affected will never recover... kind of like frostbite killing flesh

50 degree cozy in the sunroom. I wonder how they will react to a warm environment after weeks of 40-50 degree weather. We just got power back about half an hour ago. Lots of heavy wet snow had trees taking out power lines, I am happy I will be able to wake up tomorrow and make myself a hot cup of coffee. Think it might be safe to bring the plants in now, at least they had some sunlight from the windows.

It's hard to say just how much yet... I was making seeds with almost all of my plants, and was able to bring the long flowering sativas in, but had to leave the more indica dominant plants out due to space. The good news is that because seeds were the main focus of this grow, the quality of the buds wasn't going to be great anyway, and with the indicas, they have been with seed for a while now, so even though every plant was destroyed, which was 19 plants, most should have had enough time for the seeds to ripen enough to still be useful. I'll have to wait and see though. And even though the buds are nasty now, i think i could still get a buzz off of them if i cooked with them or something like that.
