did you get to see the dems march in with their articles today. Once again we were reminded how unhappy they are about having to do this to the president. the senate trial is not the same as your regular court. a regular court tries one person at a time, the senate is deciding for all of us.
the term jury is not used at all The senators are called judges and all of them together make up the court. you will hear the term jury by most news agencies but most of that is coming from the dems as they wish you to believe the senators are a jury and not judges.
They want you mad at a jury. What is happening is that the democrats should have taken more time to put their case together. They could have gotten more witnesses and more dirt if they had waited for courts to rule on whether or not trump could block his minions from testifying. But the dems didn't wait and brought forth very little in the articles of impeachment. So now you will see the dems pushing and talking about how its only fair to bring witnesses forward so we have all the info. that sounds very fair and good but they were suppose to do that before the the impeachment. That was their job in the impeachment and now it is not up to the senate to do the house's job which is to judge what the house came up with.
The tv shows are screaming about having witnesses because things don't look good for the dems without them. the dems want public outrage hoping they can jam in some witnesses and win. will it work? it will be interesting to see. I look forward to this drama, this is the best in my lifetime.
