What strain are they mate?
That has potential that spot.
They're all IB clones that were gifted to me by @DustyDuke in mid-late November. Kept them indoors under lights for a few weeks to make sure they were healthy, then put them in the ground around Xmas.

The stunted one at the back is the one I took multiple clones from & then put her in the ground with no expectations, but she seems to be doing OK.

Yeah, that spot has potential, but the soil is pretty crappy, so I'm still hand-feeding/watering them some artificial nutes. My IBC fittings arrived yesterday, so I'll soon be running irrigation lines to them from the 1000L IBC I got a couple of weeks ago. No more trudging up/down a hill with multiple watering-cans :D

Once this lot have run their course, I'm going to dig-in a heap of organics & a trailer-load of freebie horse manure into the spot & let it rot-down over winter in preparation for next season.

Edit: Yeah, I have problems with roo's, wallabies & rabbits (lost an entire crop to the bastards a couple of years ago), so the other part of the plan is to install stronger fencing.

Make it bigger grow in bags man best ove i made outdoirs tgey just grow so much better.

i know i spend about $500 so far not including the nutrients and medium,i have to order everything online it costs more cause i cant seem to find what i need in my local stores, i have a 2m tent other one is just under 1m tall which i am trying to use for propogation stage, i have 200+ seeds including northern lights super sour diesel white lsd, white widdow, i dont want to dig into my premium strains until i know what i am doing.

i will definately have to switch up my lighting you are right it is not sufficient i had about 6 germinated seeds placed under my red/blue led after a week absolutely not a sprout, i am using a heating mat tho im not sure if its enough or overkill.

Northern Lights is a perfect newbie learning strain.

So you popped your seeds in paper towels until they had tails and then put them a few cm into the moist medium and they never come up?

you dont need a heat mat at this time of year. Maybe over winter. You probably cooked them.

try the paper towel method to germinate your seeds than transfer to coco once the root starts to sprout.

Ideally you want the medium at about 28c at that stage.
Sometimes my heat mat creates too much residual heat or something even though it's got a hard setting of 28 if I don't watch it the temp of things on it can rise above 30c. I sometimes use foam plugs to raise my seedling tray off the heating pad creating an airspace underneath thereby lowering temps.

Once heads are up and proud I aim for medium temp of 25c.

Are you suggesting ditching the whole organic/ground thing & just put large bags full of coco in the same spot?

I've got 114L fabric pots, but the plants would absolutely chew through the water/nutes if I wanted to grow them big (which is the plan).

try on top of your fridge instead.
My wife keeps so much stuff on top of it. :D
I used to put them in the back of the fridge in a little cut out in the chassis at the bottom near the compressor that had the perfect temp.
Then I decided to complicate things for some reason. lol.
Anyway, I got no germ worries.

Tent will be fine and lights ain’t nothing wrong with old school cfl, the 130w will do the job for the first few weeks until you sort a light. Hps kit for under $200 and will yield nice. Price goes up from there, depends on cash. I slowly add shit and I’m always playing my next upgrade, uv, ir and far red are my next goal in the led department.
I’d piss the led panel thing of does fuck all but confuse the plant imo the cfl is where it’s at.
I’d post what your going to buy before you buy it because between us some cunts probably used it or got one. At least you won’t wast cash on a shit heap you regret if it’s a light and blurple in colour don’t buy it

Take a tip from a homebrewer? STC-1000 (or cheaper equivalent) is what you need to control your temperatures. They need to be wired-up in a box (we're talking 240V here), but anyone with half a braincell who can follow a wiring diagram can knock one up in an hour.

As homebrewers, we use both relays, but for growing, you probably don't need it (unless you want to control both a heat pad & aircon off the same unit). Both can be done. Dirt-cheap.

Yeah, I don't know why I haven't done something better about it than put shit between the pad and trays. lol.
Good call.

It requires half a brain cell you say?
Hmmmm, I'm going to have to do an internal audit and get back to ya.
