I don’t think either personally ripped a single child from the arms of whatever adult was transporting, be it family or not. Probably was their henchmen. I do think Trump admin ran into more people transporting kids not their own.

He is mining ways to break laws with nuance, or at least how to escape justice.

It is the same mindset that led to the Great Recession. Financial institutions mining for legal loopholes to figure out they could do ninja loans, package them and sell to wall street, using that money to turn around and lend out some more mortgages to sell to wall street, rinse and repeat. Scraping a few points off each mortgage at the person taking the loans expense (and eventually stock holders.. aka American pensions and savings).

Trump has lived in a gilded bubble his entire life, he has never actually had to learn humility nor humanity. Trump is fine with ripping apart families as long as it is somehow useful to get him re-elected. People are props to him.

Philadelphia U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe, president of the group, told USA Today that it “could not wait” until its spring conference to discuss the recent decisions made within the department and that its executive committee would convene a conference call on Tuesday after the department backtracked on its recommendation for Stone's sentence.
