So my plants are 2 weeks old and im transplanting them to bigger pots tonight. My question is should i start my plants on nutes now or wait and give them just water for the first few days after transplant?

the latter statement would probably be less detrimental to your plants health, i transplant can put quite a lot of stress on your girls, you dont need to add to it by introducing nutes. Id wait a couple of days just to be on the safe side

Give them babies water for the first week and a half and then slowly ramp up your nutes so the stress will not hurt the lady.:blsmoke::hump::joint:

So i may have hurt my plants, yesterday i transplanted them into 1 gallon buckets and got all antsy and added about 1 1/2 caps of grow big nutes to my water and fed my plants. Now im scared that im going to have put them into more shock because of the start of nutes. Should i go back to regular water now or will theat cause even more stress?

Heres some pictures of my babies. They are 15 days old

so my girls are almost 3 weeks old and growing beautifully, ill post pics tomorrow of there progress

but i was wondering, is it worth while to either tie my plants over or top them to improve yield?

Will it really add that much and how should i approach it.

I have more questions about sex and grow cycle but ill post those tomorrow with pics to assist.

Thanks

lookin good im a few days behind you and i hope mine are doing that well! you look like you got the tight leaves like i do, little space in between sets, which i think is a good thing, i want a bushy lil thing...keep it up tho im stayin posted on this grow

nice silky, you got a journal on here?

As promised here's pics of my 3 week old babies, ive been looking for preflowers and all im seeing is the straight pointy things at the nodes that say in the pictures to be female. This week ill figure out how to get good magnafied pictures.

But anyone got estimation on when i should go into flowering to get the most yield and stay within my 3 foot box:

My ATF plant:

My unknown plant:

They have now been watered with grow big nutes and im going to be adding either 2 or 4 55 real watt CFL's on monday.
Thanks

U must remember when flowering the plant will double maybe even triple its size. With a plant that small I would look for maybe a half to a "O" from one plant.

How big would you estimate they would have to be before i put them into flowering for about 2 O's off each plant?

Ive also added two 55 real watt CFLs to the box

i have heard for max yield go 12-18 inches minimum depending on strain...remember its gonna grow 2-3x as big from when u start flowering!

ok so my plants are now 3 weeks and 1 day old on nutes and have about 100 real watts on each plant. My plants areabout 4 or 5 inches tall. When should i put them into flowering to keep them within my 3 foot tall box with the most yield?

I would wait till about 10 to 12 inches...
OK two "O"'s off each plant, well let me put it like this my first plant was a lil under 5 1/2 feet tall after it got done flowering it yeilded 89 grams wet and 52 dry so you can see how much it will have to be to yeild 2 "O"'s perplant.

^ remember that how tight ur nodes are could increase/decrease this yield...and if u want the two o's dont worry about the loss of weight from wet to dry, if u cure it right it will be very VERY potent and that 52 can last you as long or longer as the 89!

I used 2 40 watt 4 ft floros, 4 42watt cfl, and 4 23 watts. mitsu how many watts did you use? what did you yeild? I can't imagine how much better it would have been it the lights were closer.....................

nice
update:
Since i added the two 55w cfls ive been haveing temp issues with my box getting up to 100. Ive got a 10" household fan blowing more air to the intake fan but im not sure if its going to work.

What is everyones opinion on adding c02 to a box cfl grow like this, i used to play alot of paintball and have 12 gram and 20 co2 tanks laying around and i was wondering about how much c02 should i add: a full 12 gram? and how often? will it really help my yield?

What is the average time for cfl's (IE weeks for veg and flower)?

Thanks
