Lovin riding again Ozy. Some flashes of it all coming together. Starting to relax the hands more and feel more at home. Still struggling with 45 degree turns from a stop and feel like my lean angles are over when they are far from it but that will come. Did some wet twisties riding last week to help with confidence.
Glad i threw the leg back over.

Excellent m8, good to hear. Engaging your core will help relax the hands and take pressure off the wrists, especially under braking coupled with squeezing the legs into the tank.
Slow speed cornering eh! A few witches hats set up and practice figure 8’s.
It’ll all come back for sure.
Did you look into courses on offer down there?

edit: Remember counter steering.

no i didnt look into courses. Yes, ive been practicing counter steering again but mainly coming into corners. The good old push and over is awesome. Always been a big user of it but low speed stuff i still have to practice a heap more.

One thing i noted riding home for the first time is my right fingers were settled over the brake lever even on the highway- that took ages to get into the habit of decades ago and is just a natural position even today.

awesome m8.
Mrs Ozy constantly asks when are we going back to Tas. We have great rides here in SEQ, however not as good as you’ve got there.
Next time we go we’ll have to meet up and go for a ride.

As funny as fk as every one just pretended they didnt happen. haha.
Yes well I don’t think it’s the first time I’ve been incoherent while posting on riu lol. And not likely to be the last. Had no idea what it sounded like til it was brought to my attention the next day and had no recollection either if I’m honest.
So sorry to disappoint but don’t think there’ll be any need for peanuts or wine today lol;)

There is always a need for wine. Peanuts are more a summer beer thing.

Good morning guys, I posted a couple of days ago as I was having difficulties finding a soil with no wetting agents etc.

I’ve managed to find one and have since planted using it.

however it does seem to be a little bit ‘Wood chippy’

I’m going to upload some pics of the soil and you can tell me what you think.

Remember I’m using this soil to fill the top half of my pots only and I’m using super soil bought from organicgardeningsolutions.com.au for the bottom half.

Any advice much appreciated,
Thanks again!
