Why don't you explain to me how industrial hemp and the kind of hemp that makes good doobies is similar?
Missing the small little fact that Industrial Hemp contains so little THC as to not be worth smoking, no?
There's a reason why Japan, and Europe have legalized Industrial Hemp, and that's because it is nearly useless as a drug. Arguably, you might be able to, after several hundreds of generations of selective breeding, get it to the point where it it is worth smoking, but that's a pain in the ass compared to going and getting some recreational-use hemp and using those seeds.
As far as Corn vs. Hemp, I'm not arguing for Corn. Ethanol was a stupid idea, and one that was pushed primarily by a big agrofirm, Archers Daniel Midland. Which of course, had the backing of the senators and representatives in that state.
Surprisingly the leading Senator for it was ... a Democrat, Tom "Archer" Daschle "Midland".
Yeah, I just see Democrats pushing Hemp Oil and throwing away the bribes... I mean contributions of a major corporate donor.

Cigarettes and herb are similar how? Pot doesn't kill 200k of it's enthusiasts every year. I think we should all be allowed to imbibe whatever substance we want, fuck ourselves up in any chemical way we choose, and the gov't shouldn't have a hand in it unless you fuck up more than yourself.

personal freedoms and government will be and has been at odds.
obamas free healthcare plan and you smoking pot, go together like oil and water.

its one of the fastest growing, and highest ethanol producing plant of all
its the only other plant besides soy that contains all the protiens needed by humans
not only that but seeds can also be harvested for all kinds of benificial foods
ending world hunger woot woot.
THC may not be produced but their are plenty of substances in marijuana that havent been identifyed as to their effect on the body
Oil companys don't want industrial hemp
and pharmies dont want it for its natural medicine and non-suicidal anti depression drug.
social healthcare is cheaper in countrys that have more flexible drug laws
maybe some people dont understand that socialist policys are in place to increase the overall happyness in life.
anybody can see if there is no public schools in a countys system all its people suffer.
