I think the corruption is too embedded in the system and that cheating in elections isn't even uncommon anymore. Biden will win the popular vote by millions, but he won't win the presidency.

People will be shocked and protests will happen but ultimately nothing will change. Its sad, but I think people are too numb from constantly getting screwed.

First off, that doesn't work. You can't vote in a republican primary unless you are a registered member of the republican party.

Secondly, absentee ballots are sent out based on your past voting preferences. If you're not a member of the Republican party, you will not be given a ballot with Republicans on it. So even if he switched the party, when the person opened the ballot it would still only have Democratic races in it along with other state laws/projects that everybody votes on.

So what he attempted to do was moronic. It had no chance in hell of working.

I think you are right about the timing of any pardon, if Pence will give him one, the problem is, who would pardon Pence? Would he want to be left holding a gigantic bag of shit and Donald goes free? Donald would have to pardon Pence first and I don't know if you can be sworn in as POTUS if you have been pardoned under such circumstances. Wouldn't it be easier for the democrats to have a quiet chat with Pence and cut some kind of deal? Joe is the only one who could pardon Pence, but only after getting answers, responsible government and get to pick Pence's AG! until inauguration day. Then maybe, but only for the good of the country.

Pence is Donald's only way out and I'm sure Donald has dirtied him up enough to put him away for life, so the heat will be intense on Pence to "cut a deal" with Donald. A phone call from Joe might put an end to such an option. Expect Manafort and Stone to have their sentences commuted after the election, however they will face future different charges as new evidence emerges after the new year. Donald will publicly rat out and implicate as many as possible after losing in november, everybody will get a knife in the back, Donald won't go down alone, he will take them all with him.
