I'm about to try something stupid.. who wants to watch?

Well folks, the transplant is done. Left a little more soil on the roots than I would have liked as i didn't want to get super aggressive, but she appears to have handled it with little ill effects. No drooping, no wilting and her healthy leaf sets are actually praying right now less than 12 hours after the transplant. Now the questions is whether or not she starts getting the nutrient uptake she needs to survive/recover. The thanks again for the advice and encouragement! I'll update in a few days for anyone who is curious how this turns out.

Fox farms ocean forest mixed with happy frog and extra perlite. The FFOF was the culprit. Ph was 8.7 out of the bag and would not remain stable. It was either a shit batch to begin with or it was stored improperly/sat for too long. They advertise that it's supposed to be mid 6s and I've had many bags of it that were fine, but the last couple times I've bought it it's been a disaster.

They've gotten bad about their soil here lately. Its become super inconsistent to be honest and I haven't used them after the last time they got bad like this ( like 4 or 5 years ago) they can't keep it and maintain is the issue. Years ago id get pallets that were still cooking

That sucks man. Sorry to hear you've had bad luck with them as well. I put a lot of time and love into this hobby of mine and in return I get back something that improves my quality of life immeasurably. Makes me mad that some company and their lack of quality and consistency have made the process such a stressful, unpleasant experience. Like I said in a previous comment... never again with this shit.
