"aeration " I think they mean it holds o2 when wet i can't imagine they mean the same sense as perlite as in loosening, I think they are fine together as long as you lime the mix to prevent drops in PHI'm talking more about new growers that just started that mix them together then end up on here asking what's wrong. Then they say they put coco in the promix for aeration .
just pick one or the other if your just starting out, gain some experience and then move onto mixing mediums together.
not trying to offend anyone, it's just i see alot of new growers try this and end up with lots of problems
