Deficient or burned or something, not normal. Grow details?
It took 8 days to sprout, I put it in the sun for all day once i saw green, then I took the plastic fully off, now I have it under a 20watt grow light because the sun with the plastic cover for humidity on maybe burnt it

M8 its perfectly normal why people on hear try to over complicate things. Keep doing what your doing and yes give it light straight away. Happy growing.

I think he meant meant nute burn. It's no big deal either way, just be patient. More details help as well... ie what's it planted in and have you given it any nutrients yet etc

Kinda like asking a baseball pitcher "would you like to start 0 and 2 "

NOPE
Everything you do during a grow affects taste, potency and yield

I havent given it any nutrients this is my second grow so far and I have it in miracle grow potting soil with just regular water but I know how to water now I learned that the first time around but these leaves look the same 2 days in a row now

Put it under some light and let the soil dry. keep temperatures warm. Shouldn't be seeing yellowing anywhere near this early. My guess would be either too wet or too cold or both.

My guess was it was too much light from sun/20watt seedling light, but the soil was completely dry today so I watered and its looked the same for 2 days now and the lowest temp it gets in my house is 65 maybe it's just a bad seed, it did take 8 days to sprout which is odd.

I'd bet money it's the miracle grow soil combined with slight over watering. Miracle grow sells itself as time release but those little balls of fertilizer are actually moisture released. Every time it gets watered it releases more fertilizer. It needs to dry out completely between waterings. Those leaves will never get better by the way, so just watch the new growth for signs of improvement. This is assuming it's standard MG. It's just really harsh for seedlings.

I will say, its not light burn. It's really rare to get light burn outdoors, and that 20w light is nothing.

There's absolutely nothing odd about a seed taking 8 days to sprout by the way. I've cracked hundreds of seeds, they can take up to 14 days, especially if your germinating without a heat source

So do you think since it's an autoflower is it even worth keeping and putting light on it since it starts flowering in a couple weeks? And I only watered it once when I put the seed in then covered it with ceramic wrap and kept the moisture in for 8 days yesterday was completely dry after i took off the wrap so I watered slightly, what soil do u recommended that I could buy at a home depot or lowes?

The brand doesn't matter as much as the ingredients. Really you just want a potting mix that doesn't contain "time release" fertilizer. I know HD carries FoxFarms products and both stores carry ProMix. ProMix is a great product but read up on it, it's usually soiless (and therefor inert) so you need to treat it a little different.

Personally if I were you I'd let it ride, but also start another one. Use this one as a learning experience. It very well could do just fine still. I've had plenty of ugly seedlings turn into healthy plants. In the future by the way ditch the plastic cover as soon as the seedling breaks ground.

That being said, the best advice I can give you is to read more. Everything Ive said in your thread here is readily available throughout the site or on websites like www.growweedeasy.com. The second best advice I can give you is to keep it simple.

Good luck with your grow.
