I was wondering about that myself. These people are easily aroused and can be sucked in pretty easy, but you'd have to be careful in an open carry state!

Crazy glue and roofing nails can make it a painful and expensive thing to try though, a couple of people can put down a lot in a few minutes. Mowing people down is one thing, getting dragged out of their half ton with four flat tires and beaten to death is another.

A great example of a stupid malicious republican law passed by morons.

This should get them in the streets for some target practice, if they picked it up and ran with it. The trouble is it would excite the base and Joe wants them to relax at home on election day. Though a domestic terrorist list and banning those on it from owning firearms or ammo would be useful. Laws to put militia members on it and anybody who advocates using guns against "big government" or the "deep state" would be prohibited from possessing too.

These people are now considered a national security threat, a potential enemy 5th column and a domestic terrorist threat.

Why Gun Control Is Now a Matter of National Security
Biden should seize on the rise of far-right militias to make an urgent new case for action.

Steven Simon, an international relations professor at Colby College, served on the National Security Council during the Clinton and Obama administrations, including as senior director for counterterrorism.

Jonathan Stevenson, a senior fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies and managing editor of
Survival, served on the NSC as director for political-military affairs, Middle East and North Africa, from 2011 to 2013.

For all the tragic mass shooting headlines this year, the American gun control debate seems permanently stuck. Last week, nine people were killed by AR-15 fire in Indianapolis; before that, 10 died in Boulder, and eight in Atlanta. Despite the anguish over the past month — and despite a push by President Joe Biden — Congress looks unlikely to take any immediate action.
