Dont purchase optic led

Ok first the lights aren't bad. Second their customer service does suck though. I've called them in the past because some optic 8's died out under warranty cool call them up and see what's up. They wanted to send me parts and fix them myself. Like I have time to do that. But as far as the fixtures themselves they're not bad at all.

Lights put out more heat than 1000 watt hps increasing my grow room temp by 20 degrees.
Lights themselves sorched half the plant two grows in a grow different strains damage in same zone. maybe a problem with certain chips or lenses. Light burn to the point of no return.
After 3 attempts of contacting customer service they dont allow me to send in under 10 year warranty and suggest i sell the light locally on craigslist after 3 months ownership.
So to recap, dog shit lights terrible customer service

Possible user error....and lighting companies wont allow you to return lights because you are not happy with the results.
I personally have no issues with my Optic LED's.....

Sounds like a you problem to me
 
Ricman & BK are correct, user error.
Those Cree COB's & Osram LEDs are used on other LED fixtures.

You have to follow the light intensity setting's on page 7 of the manual.
And follow the recommended hang height. It is a little different between a
90 deg. and the 120 deg lens fixture.

I'm all about getting the most out of my time, how did you get two grows in three months?

Thank you for linking the recomended settings for a totally different fixture than I used very helpful

What's the distance you have the lights from plants and what stage are the plants in ? Sounds like you have it too close on 100% or close to it. Maybe tell us the model /watts etc.
