OK, so I looked at the datasheet, and it looks like you missed the part of the key for production site (sample product, in SK). It's weird how they list it, but they are basically saying that all the sample products come from SK, and they may also manufacture at other plants, however we don't really know for sure without seeing the lot number of a specific batch:

not according to the data sheet from Samsung. 301b arent' made in SK, just Vietnam 1 plant or China 2 plants.

i'm pretty sure that the 3 they listed are the only mfg sites. if SK was a production site ( more than the likely the original sample was mfg'd in SK but not mass produced there), it too would be listed along with those other 3.

which makes sense, they would build a new diode in SK, test it there, then contract out other mfg sites to produce it.

the hlg rep said I should be ok with reflective walls because this new light is very powerful ??

You probably could get by with just one light then with one or two plants, depending on how big they can get. Start with one and if you feel the need, get a second one.

buy one board and a driver capable of powering 2 boards, and just dim it down to handle the one board. Then you can just add an additional board as needed.
