Cloning help

When I look at your clones it looks like they are woody older growth. Don't know what the plant they came from looks like but I find green stemmed clones shown below root easier than older woody stems.

Not really if done right even if say someone took a bunch of 3 ft clones and happen to toss them in they took off almost as fast about a day or two behind. It's all in your setup.

Dont worry to much.
Ive had these in since the beginning og august. Still no roots. For some reason neighter clones og seeds wanna fuck with me in hydro. So i spawn seeds om Coco, i put clones in coco - this seems to work for me. Ill use a mix of Coco, perlite and a good amount of lavarocks. Soil is shit to get of roots. Like litterally u know soil is shitt. But Coco makes transfer to hydro really easy. Just put a fork to the roots and you will clean them up real good befor putting them in hydro.
Nothing wrong with soil at all....it does clones really well. @Roger A. Shrubber hey ph and some ppm especially something with high phosphorus is helpful. Phosphorus is used in proper and strong root development. They are able to absorb some with out roots. Think back to 3rd grade in science class and how the Kool aid water absorbed through the stem and dyed the plant. It's still able to take something albeit not much but definitely makes a difference.

Hey, I remember that experiment now! I forgot all about that. Cool shit.

The clones shown in the post I quoted above went straight to soil and the pics below are 15 days after being put directly in soil.

I suppose that is true but I'm not quoting an experienced grower I was quoting a 1st time cloner and trying to help him improve.
I don't think you would expect the OP to have an easy time with a large clone that can be cloned almost as fast vs a smaller new growth clone.

I threw some extra Wedding Cake cuttings into a Solo cup filled with tap water because I was too lazy to pull out my aerocloner. They've rooted and now I'm too lazy to repot them LOL with clones less is usually more.
LOL!
I'm lazy like that often.
I have taken cuts and put them off to the side of the grow in several glasses of tap water and left them there to flower. One time I grew a well developed hermie seed that way.

The white stuff is callusing and should turn into root nubs within the next few days if you leave them alone and stop pulling them out of the root plugs.
Also, like everyone else mentioned...you fucked up by using root plugs in an aero cloner, but you'll probably be ok. Let them start to dry out and they will push out roots to search for moisture.

I believe it was said already but get rid of the aeroponics cloner and get yourself a tray for the root riot plugs. Or get rid of the root riot plugs and get collars for the cloner. I have found the best way to root in rapid rooters is soak them in solution. Then shake them out a little. Put my cuts in. Put about 200 ml on the bottom of the tray just to maintain humidity and throw on the dome with vents closed. Then throw them in my clone tent and not bother them for a few days. Will open the vents on about day 5 or 6. Should have roots by about day 10. Then I remove the dome and start hardening off.

Your plugs are staying way too wet in the aeroponics environment.

Hi guys first time taking clones and 10 days in no signs of roots at all by the looks of it, cuttings are in root riot cubes cut at a 45 dipped in clonex rooting gel and sat in a aeroponics cloner with a weak nute solution. They look healthy and have never wilted but showing no signs of roots? Anyone got any ideas as to why they aren’t rooting? Cheers
Now after ur cuttings have rooted should u do you reckon put in nutrient rich soil or should u just put in soil without any nutrients at all so the roots don't burn

I use either straight promix HP or old soil that I know isnt hot, solo cup .Freshly cooked will be too hot.

i'm not sure about in soil...in coco i start feeding them the same shit i'm feeding all my veg plants as soon as they have roots, and they don't seem to have any kind of problems with it at all

I did 65 clones in Coco, first time in this medium, I had two out of the 65 that didn't make it. I used Root excelerater, cal/mag, and Coco A $ B, in my clone spray, however I was very careful to use all of the above very lightly...I will be doing clones like this as a practice.

I also precharge the coco medium with the same above nutes,
