Disinfection time

Uv-c bulbs in different NM. One produces alot of ozone the other doesn't. Broad range of the uv-c spectrum. Tent smells like a fresh summers day after
Only need to run these for 5-10 mins but I'll do that a few times before calling it good

Things I've noticed so far.
-Hard to get a true level on the light. Have to get my lazer level out for a proper level.
-Cuts off top of tent. Much easier before to climb around inside the tent now with the light spread across the top makes for difficult access.
-hard to keep temps up. I've cut my cooling system off, turned fans down, turned off powered intakes, and still temps are low. Im gona try blowing the air down over the light and onto the plants for some more heat.
-plants loving the light. As soon a I put them in they started praying.
-Using way less power than with hid
-very uniform light spread with intense light penetration.

A double pack of torpedo levels at depot and a little clear like one gifted from a friend for the light rail some hot glue resolved level moves for the 6500 I use.

A lift system definitely could assist in up and down movements for access inside a tent.

Great looking light and grow.

Congrats on the new light JJ! I'm prepping my tent now for the next run with my new FC6500...I love your UV light idea!! I usually just mix up some citric acid/water solution and scrub everything, but I love how the light hits everything.

Ya I work in construction I have all the tools. Using the torpedo doesn't give an accurate enough result. Lazer level for the win

Thanks! Ya one produces ozone as well so anything that doesn't get touched by the light gets sterilized with ozone. I used to scrub the tent with Javex, then peroxide after but too much work. After disinfecting the tent smells super clean for a long time after and I think it actually deep cleans it better than spraying. Plus I was having issues with rust on the poles from spraying

Lift the light up, turn to 100% to get heat in there?

The higher it goes the more the heat gets exhausted from the top through the filter. I'm turning down the fan to the first setting and pushing the air down see if that helps

You might consider putting the filter on the outside of the tent, and then run some ducting on the inside down towards the floor, so it pulls cooler air out instead of warm.
