Thanks but still no access.

That said, I have no doubt that geomethane release is only gonna get bigger.
I have this Dell laptop that I just got & had/have a few issues with & I contacted support & you know/I know where the next rep I talk to is from, right?

Let's me give you a hint just in case you haven't contacted customer support for fucking anything in the last 15 years

They don't eat cattle, they would (and do) starve instead & they know how to fuck in hundreds of ways :)

Did ya get it?

Fuck yea, it's India, home of the service rep for 90% of American electronic/computer manufacturers.

So, to the point, while he's updating my BIOS we start shooting the breeze, like he's 27 & single & his parents want him to get married & I told him to forget that shit, if they want a grandkid so much, tell 'em to go adopt one & pretend it's yours.
He loved it :)

I'm way out of topic, sorta, but we got to talking about weather (I brought it up) & he told me that where he was it was 35C/95F at 3:00 AM in the morning & will reach a high of around 105/110 during the day with a humidity level of over 90%
And AC for the common man is out of reach.

So, I say to him what the fuck do you do, how long does this shit last & he tells me until the monsoons come next month & then I ask him doesn't that bring flooding & his reply was "Oh yes, much, much water"

I said we have areas in this country that haven't seen a drop of rain in 3 years & you drown every year just to cool down?

"Yes, it's very unfortunate, that is true & it's getting worse"

This guy was on the other side of the fucking Planet & the climate is killing/will kill thousands right now, at this moment in India.

We are so fucked

It's a good experience talking with the people that live in India, always enjoyed it. At work we had teams over there and their perspective was interesting, quality of work was bad but they were just people living life and it was interesting to hear about.

They had food items that seemed amazing. Kind of awkward that this guy told me every time he weinered his wife as they tried for kids, but eh, whatever.

Climate change is fake news and hurricanes are all Biden's fault, just like gas prices and food shortages, all the covid deaths were his fault too. Trump and the republicans had nothing to do with it, neither did them being racist shitheads who would rather have racism as policy by corrupt politicians preying on their fears, than have food on their table or even a roof over their heads. If they are climate refugees, the last ones they will blame will be themselves, it will all be Biden and the liberals fault, because foxnews tells them it is. By extension Putin is blameless for high inflation, gas and food prices.

The party is over, we've already passed major tipping points and things will now accelerate dramatically. The peatlands of the arctic have been burning for years now and cannot be put out. The flood of co2 along with the mass release of of methane from thawing permafrost will kick things into high gear now. The amazon forest is nearing collapse, the arctic sea ice is going fast, the greenland and antarctic ice sheets are nearing collapse. The india spring heatwave is just the start and will cause agriculture collapse as the middle of continents heat up all over the planet. We're fucked and basically nothing that will make any real difference is being done. It's not some far off idea at the end of the century, the next ten years will be like one of those apocalyptic movies in slow motion.

Sure, you have your exceptional humans that without those handful of individuals we'd still be figuring out how to make a wheel.
But generally speaking we really ain't that bright or developed as a Society & our core/primitive values, such as unfettered greed/exploitation are/have killed us.

Lot's of yellow on this Planet & not enough pink

that knife is pretty dull. If it were mine, that kind of pressure would have severed an artery.

Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver and California's Death Valley all posted record temperatures today as dangerous heat swept across the Southwest.

The National Weather Service in Phoenix reported a temperature of 114 degrees Fahrenheit tying the record high for the date set back in 1918.

Las Vegas tied a record for the day set in 1956, with temperatures soaring to 109 & a record high for June 11 of 122 was reached in Death Valley.

In Colorado, Denver hit 100, tying a record set in 2013 for both the high temperature and the earliest calendar day to reach 100.

We're screwed & we are really doing fuck all to stop it

Oh well :(
