I didn't know it was that easy, I've always seen it used in either dusters outdoors or indoors I've only had small bags of it so I applied it using gloves and a spoon. What kind of a syringe can I use? ThanksA simple syringe??????
Mine was the old 3/4 empty bag of living soil mix in my closetThen use their other products as a prevention measure, and don't wait to react. If you got gnats, you'll have em again untill you figure out the root of your problem.
It is only for a minor issue. But here is my 3 ML syringe for small plants and the duster for upto 3 gallon pots. DE is a miracle worker for pests and bad for good bugs. Know your denizens before applying is most intelligent progression.I didn't know it was that easy, I've always seen it used in either dusters outdoors or indoors I've only had small bags of it so I applied it using gloves and a spoon. Yes. The top dressing is feeding them. So much bad info in this thread considering your situation. Don't add DE. H2O2, or any other nuclear options. Just get some Microbe-Lift BMC. You could also add quality EWC as a top dressing, or buy some Hypoaspis Miles or toads. Or do all of those.the top dressing must of been the problem but i have to use it that's as its a soil grow . on saying that i probably do water abit often will try reduce that and see
Wear a mask if you insist on using DE in your no-till grow.I didn't know it was that easy, I've always seen it used in either dusters outdoors or indoors I've only had small bags of it so I applied it using gloves and a spoon. What kind of a syringe can I use? Thanks
UM??Gnats tend to be fungus gnats. The gnats are not the issue I agree. It is the fungus in and on the roots. Damn @MarsHydrofactory infomercials taught you nothing.Yes. Gnats aren't actually all bad since they help breakdown the top dressing. But of course you don't want them everywhere. Gnat's rarely hurt plants unless they're super tiny.
I don't like mixing it in soil I feel like if you het it wet it defeats the purpose. A feather duster and touching up leaves and pots if you think you have mites works thoA simple syringe??????
It's the larva eating the roots, they are attracted to any decay seems like. Prevention is key, microbes and bacteriaUM??Gnats tend to be fungus gnats. The gnats are not the issue I agree. It is the fungus in and on the roots. Damn @MarsHydrofactory infomercials taught you nothing.
Actually it remains effective. Ever see an oyster shell dissolve in water? All this bro shit. Microscopic hard shelled or skeleton creatures. Just as sharp after drying. And more likely to adhere to pests when wet. All these folks growing chia pets some one else perfected in a closet making claims towards actual natural facts.I don't like mixing it in soil I feel like if you het it wet it defeats the purpose. No I think you smothered them out with your top dressing. They were already establishedthe top dressing must of been the problem but i have to use it that's as its a soil grow . on saying that i probably do water abit often will try reduce that and see
Larvae are eating fungus. We would have crazy gnats regardless if your way. It's the larva eating the roots, they are attracted to any decay seems like. Prevention is key, microbes and bacteria
Mine was fruits coming in from the grocery store and not thinking it could ever be an issueit was lack of proper cleaning to recycle and over watering. Plants can grow in drier soil. Fungus cannot.
Hygiene if residual. Over watering if not. The basic facts.Mine was fruits coming in from the grocery store and not thinking it could ever be an issue
