I'm confused. Above my first comment is your comment. And you're the OP.
haha, I am new using the slang OP I just mean what the other person said about bagseed and was the only one to point that out so since they joined the thread we were talking about why this is a bad idea, can grow hermie seeds only partially and create bits of seeds you cannot pick out of your weed or plant at all.

Alright sorry, thought you were trolling, I have not been yet but see new soc accounts and activity so. If I can trouble you for one question, What if you germinated those seeds, not a chain reaction to me? this is news to me based on my limited applied research on breeding. I will soon, was going to try the special solution method to grow sacs with fem genetics or buy and grow a male.
What if I germinated what seeds? Hermied ones? Hermied seeds are genetically more apt to breed more hermies.

I just briefly skimmed this and wonder …..

Why not instead of overthinking a germination , just pop your seeds in a neutral Rapid Rooter plug ? Or even a lousy jiffy puck ?

Bag seeds can run all over the place on growth , strength and of course pheno. Screwing with any seed in the beginning will bring big bad things - overfeed , man handling it , damaging its early tap root . Just because it emerges slightly pale means nothing as it will build up pigmentation over time plus squeezing seeds ? Whats that ?

Of course there will be runty / weak starters … it happens But less will happen if you stop messing with them. Bury a seed about 1/8” and just let mother nature take over …. Matter of fact , if you don’t fully get using coco down pat - start them in a solo cup soil start. Then you can later ( after good growth ) transplant that into coco - yes you can do this. Or vice versa. Seeds starts will always look different in the beginning - twinning / mutation/ whatever- but it doesn’t fully reflect what plant may grow to be.

No nevermind, your response time gave me time to re read and understand what you meant and die of embarrasment real quick lol. I totally forgot you have been giving advice on breeding, I keep confusing you with other accounts. Though I think I have been running into you to disagree on a thing or two, stoney memory. Thanks for your help, I am killing those f#ckers right now. Not worth the risk. Half developed seeds and bits that trash your weed that I wouldn’t buy even if I needed the best deal.

Yeah after being so wrong I considered the bury method even though I do just fine with paper towel. I carried that over from working with literally any seed that looked like it would germinate.

This thread helped also get that brought to my attention that with vigorous paid for seeds that they probably open them selves up above surface just fine, or at least the rest of the way. I just had bad luck not following the whole proceedhre and wrote it off as not for me since.
