War

It depends on if they used one on a city or to "light the way" for their offensive in the north using a tactical nuke on the battlefield. Both would have dire consequences for Russia and I wouldn't rule anything out. We have no idea of America's stealth strike capabilities using nukes or what other options are on the table. However NATO airpower in Ukraine and the destruction of whatever Russian forces were there would be the first item of business. Then taking Kaliningrad by conventional forces, go ahead and try and nuke us. But that would just be the beginning, Uncle Sam would open the warehouse doors to the Ukrainians and everything would be on the table, including providing Ukraine with or stationing nuclear weapons there. The Russia's would be gone or dead there in a week, including Crimea.
We would wipe out all Russian forces in Ukraine, but I really doubt we would go into Russia. We do not want them to break up due to the large number of nukes they have.

it makes me wonder how accurate the estimates of russia's remain missile stockpile are?
if this is accurate, why are they throwing a missile like that instead of something smaller and cheaper?

The only thing they have many of are the antiair missiles with smallish warheads. The only other thing in that class are the Iskander (ground-launched) which they used against that shopping mall, and the Kinzhal off MiG-31s, which they’ve used antiair and are probably saving against the reasonable expectation of Ukraine getting some warplanes.
But this is a scientific wild-ass guess.

i don't have your confidence...the EU leaders have hemmed and hawed about what they can or would give Ukraine that wouldn't upset putin too much...i don't put a lot of faith in placator's willingness to wage war.
I think the hemming and hawing relates to things as they stand now, for consumption by domestic population. US under Biden have expressly promised a direct and devastating response should a nuke be used. I don’t think we’re just whistling Dixie on that score.

Voting and having it count is easier, which is why you never let these cocksuckers get the upper hand at home, lose your democracy and you can be cannon fodder too! The stupid cunts who vote for republicans don't get it at all and think that everything will be fine when America is white again are sadly mistaken, it won't end with the brown folks being exterminated, when life is so cheap and their vote means nothing, if they have one.

"Derived from the Latin word “patria,” “fatherland” implies heritage, tradition, government and order, whereas “motherland” suggests nurturing and a place of birth. While the male image of the country calls for patriotism and loyalty, the female metaphor evokes a sense of belonging and love."

WTF is wrong with this guy? Germany is only authorizing their use, other countries are supplying them, in for a penny in for a pound idiot! I don't get this guy, his actions are not matching his recent rhetoric, he should want this war over ASAP and knows the only way to do it is to defeat Russia and hand them their asses in Ukraine.

Maybe the idea is to get Russia to attack again before they are ready for a final big drive from the north. Maybe the show around Bahkmut is to also deceive the Russians, because I believe the Ukrainians are only employing a small fraction of their combat power there, artillery is killing the bulk of the Russians.
