They only released a small portion of the report dealing with unreliable witnesses, section 8, plus some other stuff, the real meat has not been released, but a regular grand jury will see it all and they will do the indicting. I figure there could be dozens indicted and it could involve conspiracy as well as other crimes, Georgia has a version of RICO and that is in the cards too. Perjury is just another lever for the prosecutors to use and Jack will know everything as well, because his J6 investigation is wrapping up by all accounts and Pence is at the top of the food chain.

Mark isn't cooperating, yet, maybe they are gonna let him ripen for a spell, because if anybody can cut a sweet deal it would be Mark Meadows, but it would mean ratting out republican politicians to get a good one, the more heads he delivered, the better the deal. He is in deep shit or soon will be after the FBI takes him into custody. Maybe Jack is gonna wait for Mark's lawyer, or maybe he has someone even better cooperating, but it's hard to imagine who that would be, Mark knew everything, and everybody involved.

I've found plenty of references to the ruling that ended Meadows appeals against the ruling that compels him to testify before the grand jury in Georgia. The final orders from the South Carolina Supreme Court came down on Nov 30.

https://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2022/11/30/Mark-Meadows-ordered-testify/8801669785961/

The Grand Jury wrapped up its work on Dec 23.

Between those dates, there was no news found on Google about Mark Meadows.

This is the first reference I've seen that confirms he did testify:

The DA’s office has said it interviewed 75 witnesses as part of its investigation—including leading Trump allies like former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and far-right attorney Rudy Giuliani—but the report did not name who the grand jury believed may have lied during their testimony.

Meadows must have testified in secret because there were NO reports of him going before the Grand Jury until yesterday. Nothing. Not even a leak from an anonymous source. I don't know what that means but I'm impressed by the discipline shown by the court on that subject. Whoever committed perjury, the courts have handled the matter in such a way that nothing they did would cause a judge to dismiss the case. The screws are tightening on that person.

i got a dollar that says it was rudy...I just don't see meadows as having the guts to brazenly lie under oath.
If it was meadows, he must have been threatened with something that scares him worse than the penalty for perjury.

but what does trump have? perhaps something that would be even more personally damaging to meadows?
I cannot imagine that, even should he have had a moment of intelligent evil, That Man could develop anything to exceed the gravitation of The Phone. If Meadows testified and contradicted the Phone, that could expose him to a perjury charge. Quite without pressure from agent orange.

I don't assume intelligence from trump, indeed the closest he gets to intelligent is feral cunning.
But he knows how to hire private investigators and lawyers.
you're probably right, but never underestimate the depths that trump will sink to, to attain his goals.

We haven't heard much from Mark and they declined to prosecute him for voter fraud over his trailer residence. Did he call Cassidy Huchison? Or did someone else do it and mention his name? Mark is a mystery and the keystone to the whole J6 conspiracy, Mark was the hub of a hub and spoke conspiracy, Mark also knows every congress person who wanted a pardon, not just the few we know about.

Mark could walk away without a day served, if he gives up enough congressional heads, they won't really need him for Trump, since the docs and obstruction will take care of that. We should know what Mark is gonna do in Georgia first it would appear, he would need a deal there too to avoid prison in Georgia, though I'm sure Jack could help with that!

Georgia does appear to be coming at Trump and others rather quickly now, according to the legal pundits, Glenn seems happy. It's beginning to look like Georgia will be first at bat, with Donald as the ball.

Georgia grand jury report re: Trump's election crimes concludes witnesses lied, recommends charges.

In the surest sign to date that indictments are coming for Donald Trump's Georgia election crimes, the Georgia state grand jury report was released today, though it was highly redacted. Importantly, the grand jury said, "We set forth for the Court our recommendations on indictments and relevant statutes . . ." However, the report is then redacted such that those recommended charges are not revealed.

The reports also noted that one or more witnesses lied to the grand jury and recommends that District Attorney Fani Willis prosecutor the liars. But again, the names of the liars are not revealed in the redacted report.

This video discusses the meaning of the grand jury's recommendations and what can be inferred from the portions of the report that were publicly released.

This video also discusses the leverage that arises when witnesses lie before the grand jury, and how prosecutors can use that leverage to their investigative advantage.

I posted a CNN story, Jack is secretly fighting ten separate motions over grand jury testimony, some of it having to do with the documents case, so that explains the federal delay. It is a good sign that they are squirming so hard to avoid grand jury testimony, but they won't have any luck!

I do not share your faith in the DOJ.
We'll see what we see, which so far, has been...This.
Garland dithered, but Jack is a different animal, one on a mission apparently, he will become feared among republicans, because I don't think he's gonna stop at Trump, once he gets into the guts of the conspiracies.

Georgia indicting Trump first is a good thing, trials are on TV there and will have the biggest impact, Jack could step in and take priority, but if he waits, he can also use the accumulated evidence and convictions in his cases too. There would be months between indictment in Georgia and his (their) trial there, I don't think Donald will be alone when indictments drop in Georgia, she could be going for conspiracy and other crimes. Those months between indictment and trial will be chaotic for the GOP and Jack could pile on with federal indictments over the documents too. Then there are possible criminal indictments in NY that are moving along too. The chickens are coming home to roost.

Roger, on this issue, your childish impatience renders what you think irrelevant.
dismiss me as you will, actions speak, words just mislead and misdirect...and i've seen no action.
you tell me to have faith in people who were put in place by those that they are supposed to be investigating...who will eventually be tried by judges hand picked by the trump administration. Who's being childish?
