In the surest sign to date that indictments are coming for Donald Trump's Georgia election crimes, the Georgia state grand jury report was released today, though it was highly redacted. Importantly, the grand jury said, "We set forth for the Court our recommendations on indictments and relevant statutes . . ." However, the report is then redacted such that those recommended charges are not revealed.
The reports also noted that one or more witnesses lied to the grand jury and recommends that District Attorney Fani Willis prosecutor the liars. But again, the names of the liars are not revealed in the redacted report.
This video discusses the meaning of the grand jury's recommendations and what can be inferred from the portions of the report that were publicly released.
This video also discusses the leverage that arises when witnesses lie before the grand jury, and how prosecutors can use that leverage to their investigative advantage.
