On CNN this morning the guy they were interviewing said the perp took screen shots too. Yeah, copies of documents and screen shots. So, not a very sophisticated job but enough to make US involvement with Ukraine's planning difficult. He too mentioned they considered this being motivated for political reasons but they aren't just considering that.

whoever it turns out to be, Luke will hero worship them, and claim they were just trying to keep the press free and honest...

Yep, Vlad is so smart he will soon be able to fly, out a window. It amazes me how so many Americans can be so deluded for so long, but once a moron turns you into his stooge and useful idiot among friends and family. It's hard to admit you've been such an idiot and are so flawed as to get sucked in by such simpleminded bullshit spewed by the worst person alive. Then there are the evil ones, those who know better but vote republican anyway, they all followed him to Russia's side in their war crimes and if they didn't see Bucha, they didn't care anyway.

Yeah, Putin is so brilliant he just got indicted, but then again so did Trump, both are losers who can't handle the truth, just like their fans.

Gak. That was a hard listen but then again, he's not lying this time. Maybe Trump is turning over a new leaf? He's going to start telling the truth. After all, his site is named Truth Social.

I look forward to hearing him talk about how he colluded with Russia and sold out Ukraine in order to win the election. Who knows? This new Trump might even set the record straight about Jan 6.

I posted it in the war thread for a reason, the war for the soul of America is part and key to a larger struggle. Liberal democracy is the only option for the future, there is no other without self-destruction by our rapidly developing technology.

He has a guru to guide him on this journey of the soul. Someone who will always be there for him.

why is it so hard for muck to understand that Ukraine is a sovereign nation with rights, just like any other nation?
Why is it so hard for muck to shut the fuck up about things he doesn't understand? Perhaps because he just assumes he understands EVERYTHING, and that the rest of us are inferior to his intellect...like most fascist.

In light of Trump's comments where he praised Dictators and authoritarian regimes that are harming their own people and economies while threatening if not making war on their neighbors, I figured I'd post this to set the record straight about Trump's agreement with Putin over Ukraine.

4 things to remember about Trump, Ukraine and Putin

It’s easy to forget that a few years ago, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wasn’t known for his steely wartime leadership, but for getting dragged by Trump into the US political scandal that led to Trump’s first impeachment.

Experts say Trump’s actions weakened Ukraine, divided NATO, emboldened Putin and helped get us to where we are today. And even with Trump no longer in office, his impact lives on in the form of Putin-friendly commentary in conservative media and from some Republican lawmakers.

“One of the key reasons Putin probably felt comfortable launching the invasion of Ukraine was the extent to which the West has been weakened and destabilized, and democracy undermined, and political divisions sown, in the five years since he attacked our election in 2016,” said Garrett Graff, a historian and journalist with expertise in national security and Cold War issues.

Trump's and the GOP's antipathy to NATO. Their degradation of our allies while fawning over adversarial authoritarians like Putin. These are not why Putin invaded Ukraine, but those actions were at the fork in the road that led to it.

the reaction some republicans have mystifies me...How can people who self label as "patriot" not only condone putin's behavior, but openly support it? Unless someone can offer a different explanation, the only thing i can come up with is that they actually don't give a single fuck about the entire situation, and openly support putin to pwn libs....anything a democrat or a liberal supports must automatically be gainsay-ed, for no other reason than a democrat or a liberal said it. I doubt most of the freedumb carcass could speak intelligently for more than 60 seconds about the war, all they know are the talking points they use to turn conversations into arguments.

They also shit on the US intelligence community and fucked over the military while trashing them and their war fighting ability as too "woke". They Attacked America and its constitution more than its allies, like Nazi Germany, you were the first victims, others came after.

Follow the money. Trump was Putin's money launderer before he moved on to bigger grifts as President. Oligarch money is found throughout the GOP congressmen.

While Schumer’s campaign cash is Vekselberg’s only political contribution, the oligarch’s associates have poured millions more into U.S. influence.

Millions of dollars in political contributions and influence spending can be traced to Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska and billionaire Leonard “Len” Blavatnik, a native of Soviet Ukraine who grew up in Moscow and now has dual U.S.-U.K. citizenship. Both are business associates of Vekselberg.

Companies tied to Vekselberg, Blavatnik and Deripaska collectively own about three-quarters of Rusal, one of the world’s largest aluminum producers.

After a multimillion-dollar lobbying effort that helped Deripaska publicly distance himself from the companies, the Treasury Department lifted sanctions on Rusal in January 2019 as well as sanctions on its majority owner, EN+ Group, a hydropower-to-metals company once officially controlled by Deripaska.

Deripaska remains subject to U.S. sanctions imposed in 2018 due to his role in Russia’s 2016 election interference efforts as well as allegations that he “bribed a government official, ordered the murder of a businessman, and had links to a Russian organized crime group.”

Those oligarchs aren't just businessmen either. They are gangsters who operate within Putin's cartel. That's blood money they are using to buy up influence in the US and elsewhere.
