Plumbing today. Figured may as well get that run without plants in there.

Ah, the smell of PVC glue

I did buy a check valve....I think will make it more efficient and accurate, instead of the pump back draining every time it shuts off, plus it doubles as a union for an easier change when the pump dies. Never seen one like this but it's a cool idea. Lets see how it preforms!!

... Here's where we're playing today. El Conquistador, only 18 dollars with cart and range balls. Best part? 3 minutes from my house. Bad part, this course always kicks our ass, too many elevated greens ...
Elevated greens are hard to hold - even harder with sand around them. If that's any indication of the other 17 holes ... I can see why it would kick ass.

Thanks.

That's cool. How long has it been? My 6yo son helped with sanding. Taught him how to use his first power tool yesterday.......6" random orbit :D
It's been a good while, I'd guess about 14 years or so. He turning 29 this year and I think he was a freshman or sophomore when he took shop.
He made us a bird feeder that year too but a black bear tore it down and munched it. Bird feeders are like crack to bears, had another visit from a big male last night. He trashed my deck a week or so ago looking for seeds. This time I heard him set off one of the motion sensors around my house and got him in the ass with my son's toy rifle. It shoots plastic bb rounds at full auto and stings a little if you're close but no injuries. He got a good scare but I'm betting I'll be seeing him again. I love having them around but the bolder one's can be a pain to deal with.

Yeah, we have a good sized piece of land and it's heavily wooded with several barns and a shop building. Him and his friends created an airsoft battle area with sniper platforms and brush hideaways so they could have big wars. I was just happy he put the Gameboy down and was playing outside. His is a mock-up of an AR-15 and I use it to spook nuisance wild life and wild dogs. I like that it spooks them without hurting them. I have rubber slugs for really bad bear problems that the game warden gave me but usually the airsoft and yelling does the trick.
