Biden suggests Democrats have new deal with Republicans on Ukraine aid
U.S. President Joe Biden on Sunday suggested that Democrats have made a deal with Republicans on support for Ukraine after the U.S. Congress left aid for Kyiv out of a stopgap government spending bill that averted a shutdown.

Biden, asked at a press conference if he could trust Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy in future deals, responded: "We just made one about Ukraine, so we’ll find out."

The nature of this deal was unclear. Biden also lambasted Republicans for holding up government spending talks.

"I'm stick and tired" of the brinkmanship, Biden said.

Whatever the Ukrainian casualties, the Russian ones are much higher, but it's not about the body count as much as the equipment, logistics and ammo destroyed count. There a plenty of mobiks, Vlad is like the King of the cockroaches in that respect, plenty more where they came from, but without equipment and training they are just meat holding guns and 2 spare mags, who would be lucky to have body armor and a proper helmet. Feeding all of them will be a problem for the Russians and for the Ukrainians if they should capture large numbers of them.

Another bad day for Vlad and the Muscovy boys. Two can play the GPS glide bomb game, either air or ground rocket launched from a HIMARS. Launching a rocket boosted ground version from a plane at an up angle would give a lot of range to that GPS glide bomb when it came off the rack at 600mph and lite up the solid booster. The GPS coordinates are preset, so they just need to get in range, pointing in the right general direction at the right altitude before release. Toss bomb the rocket boosted JADAM glide bomb a very long way.

30 Sep: Nice! Ukrainians DESTROY 21 Tanks & Artilleries. WIPE OUT Command Centers with JDAM Bombs

Eh? A distraction to draw troops away, hit and run? They don't have the air power to pull off a major amphibious operation or the ships and landing craft, unless they and the allies pulled a very big surprise!

And Russia has three times as many people and has no problem throwing their lives away. Defending is not as reliant on skill, stick a person in the trench and give him a gun and he will likely shoot in the right area. They just have to hold the Ukrainians off for a month and it might be a stalemate. With Orban and the new Slovakia government being Russian boosters they can squeeze the taps for weapons and money, the Republicans limiting American help, the Ukrainians could be in some trouble.

And he says in the clip he does not see the helicopter getting hit.
The main point is Vlad can't use his summer home anymore and Moscow could get uncomfortable too, he has a bunker in the Urals, but he can't control anything from there and needs to be in Moscow or close by. The war is affecting Vlad in many ways other than being an international war criminal and fugitive from justice, he just had to dispose of Progie and might have another target in mind who was reported near death, but recently met with him. There are rumors of political trouble for him and perhaps it might end in a coup, he is clamping down hard, so he's bracing for a shit storm. Vlad can put a lot of meat in the field, but that is all they are, is meat in the face of modern arms and effective airpower using cluster munitions in particular. Untrained with small arms and limited ammo, they are no better than armed civilians, not even effective holding a trench and useless for maneuver warfare.

The thing about these mines is there are so many laying around or collected in large piles, so there is no danger of running out of mines or pop bottles. They just need enough of the larger drones to drop them, mostly at night.
