If it is doing this to the Ukrainians who have been preparing, imagine what it is doing to the Russians, many who have not been prepared or cared about.

Snow storms cut off thousands of homes in Ukraine

More than 2,000 Ukrainian cities, towns and villages are without power this morning amid freezing temperatures, high winds and heavy snowstorms.

“In total, 2,019 settlements in 16 regions are cut off from the grid,” the interior ministry said.

At least 1,370 cargo trucks were stuck and 840 cars had to be towed away because of snow drifts up to two metres high, minister Ihor Klymenko added.
yeah i saw that story this morning, and that storm isn't even over yet....the eye wall hasn't hit Crimea yet.......

You would have to be mad to believe anything this asshole says, like Trump would not cut Ukrainian support or withdraw from NATO, and if he had a republican rubberstamp congress it would game over and anything the tyrant wanted. It would not be much different than Russia FFS, except he would have trouble with the military officer corps if he got too out of line. The constitution says he is president and if he violates or attacks it, he will be no longer be one and they protect and defend the constitution, not the president. It's not about who owns the most guns, but who controls the US military in the end.

I guess he expects Trump to be in prison and out of the picture, because the republicans will never free themselves from him otherwise.

Shells needed. Russia gearing up for a long war.

His talk is worth hearing it all but two main points above. Toward the end he says Russia is gearing up to win in 2025-2026.

Ukraine trying to keep up with the demands for warm bodies.

The Swedish Grippen can operate off roadways and there was talk of them getting some of them too. The Swedes are another bunch who would like to see Russian military power destroyed, that and NATO membership should save them a few bucks over the next decade. If we can't get them the shells in the numbers required, other systems like rocket launched glide bombs and modified commercial drones will have to do. The FPV drones seem more effective when the Russians are attacking and perhaps getting ahead of their jammers that have to be further back, out of conventional artillery range. The Russians are continuing to attack, and they are continuing to die, why bother with an offensive in those areas when the Russia's are coming to their defenses and paying for it. Meanwhile they are making moves in the weakly defended south near Kherson at the end of the Russian logistical lines, not being helped by the weather. The Ukrainians are across the river, but their logistical lines are shorter and less affected by the recent snow than the Russian ones.

"rocket launched glide bombs and modified commercial drones will have to do"

If you want Russia to win. The reason they are keeping the Russians at bay is the amount of stuff they are firing at them. Saying that they have to do more with less will not work, especially inn 2024-5. The Russians will play the long game, if not taken out next year then they may win.
