that's just the tip of the iceberg for war crimes...
It was very bad timing for Vlad to get his energy markets cut off and be put under sanctions for a decade. The world is moving on, transitioning away from fossil fuel and demand will be a fraction of what it is now in a decade with lots of sellers and fewer buyers. America and Europe know this, and Vlad and Russia are really fucked, about as fucked as you could be!

as long as UA keeps hitting those terminals and other infrastructure non civilian they will be hurting, heck they're hurting now, Ruble is no worth the paper it's printed on, another turn of events is there are 10 russian tankers sitting near India right now and no one is buys it.......

they're hedging they're bets now:

ty julia for watchin this crap.......
As for how fucked Russia is and how fast it will happen. CATL will sell batteries for $56/kWh by June of this year, price parity for an ICE vehicle is $80/kWh. They are building these battery factories in America and Europe, so much for tariffs. This will drive the sales of EVs through the roof in a couple of years when the factories get rolling, it will drop the cost of renewables energy storage too. Europe and a lot of other places are looking at energy independence in a decade or shortly thereafter. This price is shocking news to the industry and can change a lot of people's math.

I had the ruble figured at the proximate value of a single sheet of toilet paper, depending on the quality and where you buy it, others online agreed!

With Russia showing it is the #2 army in the world one has to keep in mind the #3 and #4 army in the world are in the neighborhood and the risk of the conflict spreading can ignite the region. No really, have patience and watch, this may change your opinion on how this all may escalate.

Oooo, "Is that fog?"

I don't see a major military threat from Russia or Iran directed at the west. They are still getting slaughtered on a shoestring in Ukraine, but not for long, longer reach missiles are on the way to hit distant logistics. That should set the Russians back a notch or two and buy more time while continuing to destroy even more high valued stuff like AA defense, logistics and C&C. They might have a lot of war bodies, starving in the front-line trenches with little ammo or even water, while freezing their asses off. Soon Ukrainian airpower should show up but take out more AA missile defenses first in Ukraine and force them to move systems back to Russia for drone defense, so it will be safer to operate.

As for the cyber threat, we are onto them, and the social media execs were roasted on the hill today. A lot of their talent must have walked out of Russia many English speakers and a lot might have got drafted too. I expect defenses against this shit, including the grid and its infrastructure, Biden appears to be addressing it. China is a player but might rather have Biden than an insane and mercurial Trump, even if they can bribe him, they want into the American market with batteries, EVs and solar panels and are building factories in America or trying to.

Oh, it was funny, but the last part was serious and the Russians greatest success, cyber warfare on civilians. Trump is their greatest asset and hope, only he can solve it after all. Orban is cornered by the EU and so is his buddy, Europe is preparing for war in more ways than one and social media will be a battlefront, Ukraine can help a lot there, they are experts.

When this shit is more or less over, we might hire experienced Ukrainians for contracted cyber defense, they know the Russians and speak Russian too. There might be business for them in the field. Elon is a major problem, he has no problem with thousands of bots and Russian trolls on twitter, but twitter is banned in Russia, yet they have such a strong presence there.

Those new missiles, I see Uncle Sam is coming through on those rockets launched 100-mile glide bombs they promised a while back, that will hurt.
That’s nice an’ all, but what they could really use right now is a coupla million more rounds of 155 and some fresh barrels.

There is an old saying about war, ya go with what ya got, not with what ya want. For now, drones for battlefield short range work and deep strikes into Russia to tie down their AA defense. Long range rockets from NATO and America to hit the concentrations of logistics far in the rear along with C&C and anything else of value they can find. Air power might be on the scene soon and it will likely be a surprise. The Europeans are ramping up shell production, but it takes time, now that they are committed to rearming, it might take a while to get some significant production. However if the missiles and airpower work out, not nearly as many shells will be required. America never counted on a war of this type, Uncle Sam would have just clobbered them with missiles, airpower and technology.

Well damn. Now I want a Moscow Mule!

looks like an AMC Pacer got a Pontiac Aztek (two of the ugliest vehicles ever foisted on the consumer) pregnant, and the kid has an extra chromosome.
