Is there any hope for seedlings that stop growing after sprouting?

I planted some seeds that I have had on hand for about five years. Most of them didn’t sprout and a couple that did sprout basically stopped growing after producing seed leaves. Is there any way to stimulate them to grow? They have been stuck at this stage for about a month now.

I gave both seedlings a dose of Super Thrive about a week ago but I don’t think it helped.

Personally, I would start over.

My guess too wet and if I just had to save them
I would transplant to a bit larger container with dry soil
But start over is an option
Tell ya what
Drill about 6 holes in the sides of the cup and see if a little aeration doesn’t do the trick
Just for shits and grins

Let the roots stretch and don’t add anything

They don't need anything but tap water till they begin to crown the first 3 finger leaves. You probably hurt them with the S.T. I also agree looks to wet. Me personally I like to start my seeds in rockwool. Transplant into anything or add to more rw.

What are they planted in? That will help with a answer

Older seeds sometimes lack the strength to make that transition and may stall as in the pics. I much prefer insane vigor.
Trying to solve will probably just delay their replacement. Most times I just pull and replant. Just did so this week, was trying to save some of my older seeds which stalled.
