Bubblegum to me was ALWAYS mids
And the only time it seemed to ever really smell or taste like bubblegum was if the plant was grown outdoors..
But in Cali in the 90s we would pass if someone tried to sell you some bubblegum
I think it was really only a big thing to them boys in Indiana, to them that was the fire hahaha
It had it's time in Europe and the UK too it's more about the taste than anything in my opinion tho it has a nice euphoric chilled buzz I wouldn't call it strong or a day ender tho

What up y’all
I just starting reading through the thread (up to page 113), and thought I’d throw up a few images of the most recent run.
Branded Bubba, D x TK, and Ds1 all awesome

Been running Csi stuff for a while.
Quality is always top notch.

First run of 16 Big Bad Wolf about to be flipped, and pretty excited to see what keepers I can find..

I grew the zkittlez x bubblegum. Bubblegum seemed to dominate the cross, but out of 6 plants two were very potent. I had a friend ask "what's wrong with this weed?" because she got too high smoking some in public
Every pheno had sweet candy flavors, some more pink bubblegum-esque. The best one had a floral note to it and was quite frosty

Hello CSI Humboldt fans I'm looking to grab some CSI seeds and would really like a recommendation for a solid indoor strain which has good flavour but more importantly, potent too! I have read somewhere that the crosses are often preferred to the S1's but that's another question I'm sure some of you could answer! Thanks. Peace.

Attitude near me stocks Flight Risk, Uppercut, Zsunami and also a H13 hashplant. The others available are all S1's, Grandaddy Purple, Bubba kush, etc.... Any advice really appreciated, thank you. Peace.

Just wanted to point out that if you buy directly from his site you will get a hand full of freebies that make it worth it.
Thanks Lurpin I appreciate that, I do remember reading that he is a generous guy as well as a genius breeder. CSI Humboldt are definitely a huge admission from my collection. If there are two breeders I want to get round to buying seeds from it would be CSI Humboldt and Archive. The main reason I've not yet done this is not because of the costs of the seeds but I have limited knowledge of their strains so far and I am a bit worried about hermies as I only grow indoors. I appreciate that there will be risks with most strains herming these days so I like to see lots of positive feedback and no or little reports of hermies. Peace.

Genius is a stretch

He has some old cuts and has been holding them for a long time also Introduced some of the to the community I don’t think he did anything genius level

I respect that opinion and somewhat share that view.

But I think it was pretty genius of him to cross a lot of old school strains into some newer stuff.....imo he was one of the first to do that; instead of inbreeding it or just crossing things to cookies repeatedly....even though he DOES do that... he also constantly obtains cuts and experiments with them before bringing them to the community- doing real breeding work; rather than here's a bunch of hermie ridden phenos like most other places.

But imo his combination of old school and new school genetics is what makes his stuff an absolute must. I've just smoked too much good CSI gear; however he isn't where I go if I'm looking for something extra potent; but he has reliable genetics that get the job done for sure and some tasty stuff in there

What's people's opinions on Flight Risk or Uppercut? Flavours, effects? Thanks. Peace.
I haven't grown any of those, but I have grown his purple urkle, cali orange, and old family purple. I really enjoyed his purple urkle, but I'm biased because it's a nostalgia thing for me with that strain. I found a pheno that was pretty dark, and grape tasting. The cali o was okay, I didn't find any orange phenos, I've got another pack I need to search through to try and find some orange. I can suggest his old family purple strain with confidence to you. I found a few really good phenos in one pack that got me ripped. Taste was pretty good too. I had one pheno that I think leaned to the triangle kush side a lot. It had a really nice citrus taste to it.

In regards to CSI gear not being extra potent, have you tried some well grown Triangle kush or Chem D S1’s or crosses?
