So I finally decided that I'm going to switch over to LEDs. I wanted to purchase now before the crazy tariffs begin on Monday. After many hours of study, I decided on the Viparspectra KS5000 for many reasons. Namely because of the glowing reviews, great components, ability to put the drivers outside the room, and the sheer size of them (40in square). Two of them will just fit over my 8ftx4ft flowering area. While trying to buy them from the Viparspectra sit directly, it wouldn't let me put more than two in my cart, no matter what I did. After buying them, I see why... These were the last two available. There is a newer version, the KS5000e, but it is smaller and people are reporting problems with the new driver. I need 3, because when one goes down, I won't have to wait for it to be repaired with no light. I bought the third light from Amazon as an open box, if that one goes down, it will be covered under Viparspectra's 3 year warranty with them thinking I bought it directly from them. With my new strains and lights, I should crush it for significantly less operating costs. We'll see...

Your certainly not giving up without out fight. Love growing to much to hang it up,great planning and thinking ahead. Can't wait to see these ladies all frosty :weed:

Tried to play golf yesterday. No go, 2 hour frost delay and seemingly every snow bird on the planet was there. Same thing today, guess I'll tend to my plants and watch sportsball. I'm really starting to dislike snowbirds. A most entitled and rude group of people indeed. Does wealth make you an asshole? Apparently.

Freakzilla, I hope she makes some seeds, I dusted her with pollen a couple of times. I think I saw a couple.

If that mutation comes through every time I think it's got a little freakshow strain in her. I just got some beans and the plant looks a little like those leaves, except skinnier and a little fern like.

The Canadians as a group are very polite. The people from the Midwestern states that start with a vowel, not so much.
