War

What we support is Ukraine and its ability to defend against Russian invasion and annexation. Ukraine chews up our enemy and our soldiers don't die. It's a bargain for the US and the free world.
Chews up our enemy? Hardly. I don't buy any of that and find it insensitive to offer up young men (Ukrainian) to die in trenches in order for a "bargain". Enough is enough.

Well, I'm still young enough. I have 18 mo's to decide before I turn 60. My type 2 diabetes might be an issue. But, yes, interesting.

That's part of the point people have been discussing here all along. The USA hasn't committed any troops. The military industrial complex of all countries supplying arms have made money, but especially the USA. Before the Republicans delayed funding the Ukranians were pushing the Russians back. That's when all we heard out of Putins regime was nuclear sabre rattling. That's where I don't understand your comments about an unwinnable war. Kind of a defeatist attitude, but whatever. They just want their sovereign territory back. Putin wants the Soviet Union back and will rape and pillage to get it. They need to be stopped because most believe if they are allowed to take the Ukraine, Poland, and the Baltic nations are next. But in your heart, you have given up. Not sure what to say to that. :(

I believe ham was talking about Russian loses, which if am right is about close to a million dead or wounded at the present time. Also we can also about Russian war materials to that's been obliterated by the Ukrainians.

Pooty right now is on the ropes as if we're with money and materials, while, also losing money from hits against his oil and gas production.

You know the one thing I noticed about all of those US military industrial complex companies in that video (Boeing, Lockheed, Raytheon, General Dynamics ect) is that they are all American jobs here in the USA. Now trump has sent all those jobs to the European Industrial Complex...US defense workers get screwed.>:( European weapon manufactures will no longer have to compeat with the USA for defense contracts. The Art of the Deal i guess

"We are at a crossroads in history today," Starmer said after a summit of 18 leaders - mostly from Europe and including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who said Ukraine felt "strong support" and the summit showed "European unity at an extremely high level not seen for a long time".
