What have religions brought to the world aside from ignorance, hatred, fear, and naivety?



Please dont answer how it improved your life, I want to know what religion has done for the world as a whole...

Every single war EVER. A bunch of religious crazed people who try to control people through their beliefs even though we have a seperation of church and state, and also a bunch of crazed religious fundamentalist groups that have carried out terrorist acts in the name of their god.

did you mean what has the religion done that is good for the world collectively? cuz i answered but it wasnt good...and religion is a bad thing, nothing anyone can do about it though.

hes asking wut its done for thw wolrd...COLLECTIVELY ...this isnt a hate religion thread...i just couldnt find any collective positive thing, and the part about us being raised up a notch above the apes...not true at all, what about all the women who were burned alive because they were "witches", or people that were beheaded by religious fundamentalist groups, the ancient mayan civilizations who believed they had to rip peoples hearts out and chop their heads off to shed blood so that the sun would rise everyday....seems pretty barbaric to me. i mean..thats only 3 examples.

this is true, its done good only for individuals and their personal satisfaction, which by all means isnt a bad thing....but all that bad shit comes with it.
