Yup, at home.. just me and hubby (my oldest daughter sleeping in her room) with no one else .. when the time came I didn't want or feel I needed the midwife, so we called her afterwards.. lol.. all went perfect.

Homebirth isn't for everyone.. assisted or not, I wouldn't tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do- but I went with my gut and what felt right for me (after a HELL of a lot of research) All worked out perfectly.

Just wanted to announce Friday morning, 4:38 a.m. I gave birth to my second child, a girl. 20 inches, 8lb 4 oz.. born unassisted at home, caught by her daddy.

Been a while since I've smoked.. so light em up everyone!

She's doing great, just being a little angel. I'm healing much better and quicker than with my first- all is well. Having a week to rest/heal up and just let us all get aquainted and settled in really was amazing.
