Yup, at home.. just me and hubby (my oldest daughter sleeping in her room) with no one else :bigjoint:

.. when the time came I didn't want or feel I needed the midwife, so we called her afterwards.. lol.. all went perfect.

Homebirth isn't for everyone.. assisted or not, I wouldn't tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do- but I went with my gut and what felt right for me (after a HELL of a lot of research) All worked out perfectly.

I wouldnt have been able to do that shit... I'm far too squeamish to want to stick my dirty paws inside my girl's cold frigid snapper to pull out some kid that I know is gonna hate me in 15 years later...

She's doing great, just being a little angel. I'm healing much better and quicker than with my first- all is well. Having a week to rest/heal up and just let us all get aquainted and settled in really was amazing.
