If you want to make a reflector, mylar is fine, I guess. Mylar is expensive. I saw someone use a thick poster board(white.) It seemed to work great. But for walls, I'd suggest white board/walls. Test the difference for yourself.

So today i woke up and noticed a lot of growth in my little shrubling, I've recently been moving the lights up and up to give it stem growth and it really seems to be working, just slowly training it up and while doing so its growing out as well,
Heres a pic as of 5 minutes ago.

this kinda makes me scared, i'd like to chalk it up to my green thumb, BUT i cant do that until i have my first little hairs

i am new too into my first week and i have have some sprouts up.
i am starting with cfl's as well but what i can figure from the researh
i have done thus far is an upgrade to better lighting is a must.
anyway good luck

Upgrading from CFL's are NOT a must. Many of us have grown DAMN good bud using only CFL's. I, however, upgraded:mrgreen:

I love the cost and low heat from cfl's.If I was gonna use anything else for veg,it would be t-5 lighting.there the glorified cfl basically.a 54 watter puts out like 5600 lumens each or some shit like that. But Im getting an air cooled 600 watt hps soon for flower.HTG supply on the bay.for 500 bucks I can get everything including 6" duct and a decent 450 cfm fan. 95,000 lumens the plants will definately agree with.of course Im using cfl for side lighting to get to the buds down lower:leaf:

wen the small tail of it is about 5cm long, drop that bad boy in soil to grow it out of its seedling state, after two weeks of that its time to switch to veg, 18/6

See if i had the money a lot of shit would be different, i would love to buy a 500watt hps lol
but i need a new job >.< and with the market the way it is that'll be tough, so i've resorted to other methods, ergo, RIU lol

that sounds like such a sweet setup tri, man you will have so very pretty buds

I completely understand the money thing man.Im very lucky i have the job Ive got right now.Economy is in the shitter right now.Keep diggin, for a better gig,It'll come around eventually.
Yeah the hps should produce bigger and better,but then Im gonna need more co2.Its a damned if you do,damned if you dont deal.But I'll figure something out to get more in there:leaf:Theres no doubt cfl's work great and are inexpensive to run.Ive got proof of the results.I was amazed:weed:
