Things are good...I am guessing that I have a little over 3 oz dry....Its a starting mark...I had a retarded plant that I probbally got ? 3/8ths Oz.

The other strain was much better....I think im gonna make a seed order this week?

I am looking forward to better harvests soon...The next crop will be prob 4 to 6 oz dry in 30 days....

On the first im making my order for my lights Do you think $700 is too much for:

1x1000 watt HPS Air cooled hood and 1x1000 watt MH/HPS conversion.

It's about the best deal that I could find.

well..the light leak a couple weeks ago cost me. I was inspecting the crop and realized 2 of my plants are pregnant....Hopefully its not all 4 of the bitches that will be ready. At least I got one seedless crop to start, Now I guess it is just a waiting game....

I guess I will just let it go and hope it didn't fuck up more then a couple branches. Anyone know how to minimize the damage...

The plant on the left has 2 branches with seeds....and the middle plant still looks fine.

Sorry to heat about your problem. I hope it's not to bad. The only thing I can think of to minimize the damage would be to try and find the pollen sacks and pluck them off, Good luck!!

That was kind of my question....The problem plant was a super stressed plant that turned hermie when I cut my went hole in the roof late in bud....I should have waited till the cycle was up :wall:

I got the problem plant out and killed it. Are the ones that have seeds a threat to pollinating the 6 that are not?

I could cut off the brances that have seeds now and put energy to the good parts of the plant...Or i could let the seeds go and have a few seeds of my strains that are going to dissapear once i upgrade my genetics?

With the hermy gone you need not worry about any more seeds. The way I understand it is that when you pollenate a plant with a herny you get feminized seeds. I wouldn't cut them off, leave them and keep the seeds. Just my opinion.. :)

Thats what i was gonna do unless I find some info to the contrary....

It just fucked...the plant that turned was always trouble. It had a real funky smell and was pretty good smoke...just i bet i got a 1/4 oz of the whole plant. I should have pulled him right away and replaced it with a more stable plant. It least i got some learning done on this first run.

I just ordered a 1000 more watts of hps, I also have my plant numbers going up weekly for the next month so hopefuly I can get through this run...Then I think I will start a new journal...slippery 2.0 Im gonna do a side by side of organic tea VS fox farm.

The original plan was for me to use 4x600 hps..I figured that would be a good efficient and even lighting plan. 9 plants per light for a total of 36 plants.

I just ordered a light from ebay...I decided on going with thousand watters...3 or 4 depending a few things.

What do any of you think a good number for a good efficent perpetual harvest, 15 per light is what a friend does, I have also seen less. I have an 11 foot by 7 foot area to grow.

I would like to run 2 crops of 20 plants...I cant wait to get the new light.

Sounds like your getting things together for a monster grow!! Good luck. What I was reading in the faqs, is that you want a min of 50w per sq ft. If your 11 x 7 = 77 sqft. thats 3850w. If it was me I'd go for 4 - 1000w. Thats alot of power!! As far as how many plants I think it would depend on how you are growing them. You could SOG, Scrog, or grow bushy monsters.:leaf:

sorry to hear about the pregnant bitches.. had some problems with that myself.. shit sucks... theres always next time tho!

if you can deal with the heat issues i would go with the 1000's... but that is a lot of heat... so if it will be an issue go with the 600s.. either way you'll have a fat grow!

I am going to get 1 thousand watter per month...Im going to use 2 can fans one pushing the air over the light and one exhasting the lights. Im going to use air cooled hoods and chain the lights together.

Im not sure what the size of the one I have is...It sounds like a hurricane till i put it in a box. I was planning on getting another one like it...Or this stanley blower that I saw on another journal.

Im still not sure how many plants to run, my numbers i can legaly have are above what I have. I feel like im wasting resources being light on plants.

This is what i had in mind but only with 600 watt hps and 9 plants per light.

I decided to go with 1000 watt hps and 12 plants per light. I boarded a window shut which could be opened back up and an AC unit stuck in it if needed.

looks good.. i would recommend either a 6" 350-400 cfm per pair of lights or a 10" to 12" fan for all 4 lights.. and keep the fan pushing the air over the lights if possible... but it looks good non the less!

Thanks...Its probally gonna take 2 or 3 months to get there....The can i have is an 8 inch or a 10 inch...I have it in the exhaust right now. I think pushing the air and pulling should keep it cool. Hopefully I don't need the other A/C

Did you ever go see the hangover....I went and saw it fucking hilarious.:lol:

i'd imagine that should work and keep them cool enough.. i mean.. worst case you have to do some refiguring right? no biggie...

yea i went and saw it a couple weeks ago.. it was funny as hell.. had me cryin almost in some parts.. but i dont think it lived up to the hype.. would have rather watched it at home where i could have smoked during the slower parts.. that was the thing.. when it was funny it was REALLY funny.. but the slow parts killed me..

Hey slip..sounds like ur on the verg on installing a sick system... well ill be picking up the clones as far as i know tommorrow..im gonna crunch numbers tonights, since my boy is taxing me an arm and a leg.. i mean 35 ea times 30 well u see wut im sayn im thats like 1050 bucks.. so i might only get enough to slightly fill my bud room, and a couple for u.. i was plannin on filling bud room and veg..but i can take cuttings and start some GDP or soma or both to ease the clone $$...either way ill pm u 2night or 2morrow when i get all tied in..late bro

thanks it should be good....I need to step my game up to keep pace with you men...I should get some killer crops.

Anyone got a favorite seed bank thats relaiable, fast, and has good strains?
